IN “Notice Air to Air Firing Ranges”, page 210 of Gazette No. 7, dated 15 February 1968, under sub-heading First Schedule for co-ordinate “175° 55′ 00″ E” read “174° 55′ 00″ E” which agrees with the original document signed by the Minister of Defence.

Defining the Boundaries of the Taranaki Electric Power District and Outer Area

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Electric Power Boards Act 1925, I, Sir Arthur Espie Porritt, Baronet, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby define:

(1) The boundaries of the Taranaki Electric Power District as set out in the First Schedule hereto;

(2) The boundaries of the Taranaki Electric Power District Outer Area as set out in the Second Schedule hereto.

FIRST SCHEDULE

ALL that area in the Taranaki Land District comprising the Counties of Eltham, Stratford, portions of the Counties of Taumarunui, Inglewood, and Clifton, the Boroughs of Waitara and Eltham, and the Town District of Kaponga, bounded by a line commencing at the summit of Mount Egmont and proceeding in a northerly direction along a right line to the source of the Waiwhakaiho River; thence down the middle of that river to the boundary of Egmont National Park; thence south-easterly along that boundary to the middle of the Ngatoro Stream; thence north-easterly down the middle of that stream to the middle of Cambridge Road; thence north-westerly along the middle of that road to the middle of Dudley Road; thence north-easterly along the middle of that road to and along the middle of the Windsor Road to a point in line with the north-eastern boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 1944; thence south-easterly to and along that boundary, the north-eastern boundary of part Section 119, Moa District, and the north-eastern boundary of part Lot 1, D.P. 1639, to the middle of Kurapete Stream; thence generally north-easterly down the middle of that stream to a point in line with the southern boundary of part Lot 6, D.P. 94; thence to and along that boundary and its production to the middle of Lincoln Road; thence generally north-easterly along the middle of the said Lincoln Road to and south-easterly generally along the middle of Lincoln East Road to the middle of Bristol Road; thence north-easterly along the middle of

that road to its junction with Everett Road; thence along a right line to the north-western boundary of Section 66, Block I, Huiroa Survey District; thence again north-easterly along the north-western boundary of that section and its production to the left bank of the Manganui River; thence northerly generally down the left bank of that river to and down the left bank of the Waitara River to its confluence with the Mangahinau Stream; thence westerly generally along the middle of that stream to the western side of Nelson Street; thence northerly along the western side of that street to the north-western boundary of 29B 1 and 29D 2, Sub 1, Waitara West District; thence south-westerly along that boundary and the north-western boundaries of Part 29B 1 and 29D 2 Sub 2, 29D* and part 29C, Waitara West District and the last-mentioned boundary produced across the New Plymouth-Waitara Railway to and along the north-western boundary of Sub 2 of Section 29, Waitara West District, to the easternmost corner of Lot 4, D.P. 9304; thence generally northerly along the western side of the New Plymouth-Waitara Railway to and along the eastern boundaries of Lots 3 and 1, D.P. 9551, to the western side of Ranfurly Street; thence northerly along the western side of that street, across Raleigh Street to and again northerly along the western side of Ranfurly Street to the southern side of Brown Road; thence westerly along the southern side of Brown Road to a point in line with the western boundary of Section 136, Waitara West District; thence along a right line across Brown Road to and along the western boundary of the said Section 136 and its production to high-water mark; thence easterly along high-water mark to the western boundary of A2 Part Reserve A, Waitara West District; thence northerly along that boundary to low-water mark; thence easterly along low-water mark to the western side of the training wall on the western side of the mouth of the Waitara River; thence south-easterly and south-westerly along the south-western and north-western side of the said training wall to high-water mark; thence generally south-westerly and south-easterly along high-water mark to a point in line with the southern side of Howard Street; thence easterly along a right line to a point on the western side of East Quay in line with the southern side of Howard Street; thence northerly along the western side of East Quay to the northern side of Howard Street; thence easterly along the northern side of Howard Street to the right bank of the Waitara River; thence generally northerly along that bank to and generally easterly and north-easterly along the high-water mark of the Tasman Sea to the southern boundary of Mohakatino-Paraninihi 3D 2 Block; thence easterly along that boundary crossing the Clifton and Waikorora Roads to the eastern boundary of Section 10, Block VII, Mimi Survey District; thence southerly along the eastern boundary of that section to Waipingau Road; and again southerly along a right line across that road to and along the eastern boundary of Section 12 of Block VII to the northern boundary of Section 4, Block VII, Mimi Survey District; thence easterly along the northern boundary of that section and the northern boundaries of Sections 1 and 20, Block VIII, Mimi Survey District, to
