AUCKLAND CITY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and
amendments, the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and
amendment, and regulations thereunder, and of all other
powers thereunto enabling it, the Auckland City Council
hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing interest and other
charges on a loan of one hundred and thirty thousand dollars
($130,000) to be known as the Works Depot Loan 1967—
$130,000, which amount is proposed to be raised by the
Auckland City Council under the above-mentioned Acts for
the purpose of continuing the erection of a new works depot
together with ancillary buildings and equipment, and the
necessary site development and the cost of raising the loan,
the said Auckland City Council hereby makes and levies a
special rate of point nought three nought six of a cent
(.0306c) in the dollar ($) on the rateable value (on the
basis of the annual value) of all rateable property of Auckland
City, comprising the whole of the City of Auckland;
and that the said special rate shall be an annual-recurring
rate during the currency of such loan, and shall be payable
yearly on the 1st day of June in each and every year during
the currency of the said loan or until the loan is fully paid
off.”
Certified copy of a resolution passed at a meeting of the
Auckland City Council held on the 13th day of December
1967.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by the Meat Act 1964, Local Authorities Loans
Act 1956 and amendment thereunder, and of all other powers
thereunto enabling it, the Auckland City Council hereby
resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing interest and other
charges on a loan of three hundred and fifty four thousand
dollars ($354,000) to be known as the Municipal Abattoir
Loan 1967, $354,000, which amount is proposed to be raised
by the Auckland City Council under the above-mentioned
Acts for the purpose of renovating and improving the municipal
abattoir, and the cost of raising the loan, the said
Auckland City Council hereby makes and levies a special
rate of point nought nine nought one of a cent (.0901c) in
the dollar ($) on the rateable value (on the basis of the
annual value) of all rateable property of Auckland City,
comprising the whole of the City of Auckland; and that the
said special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the
currency of such loan, and shall be payable yearly on the
1st day of June in each and every year during the currency
of the said loan or until the loan is fully paid off.”

PAPAKURA BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Papakura Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a
loan of $320,000, authorised to be raised by the Papakura
Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the
purposes of constructing sewer reticulation, the said Papakura
Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of point two one
four cents (.214c) in the dollar upon the rateable value of all
rateable property of the Papakura Borough, comprising the
whole of the Borough of Papakura; and that the special rate
shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the
loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each
and every year during the currency of the loan, being a
period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

HOBSON COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Rural Housing Loan No. 2, 1967—$60,000
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Hobson County Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
a loan of sixty thousand dollars ($60,000), authorised to be
raised by the Hobson County Council under the above-
mentioned Act for the purpose of making advances to farmers
in terms of the Rural Housing Act 1939, the said Hobson
County Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal one
one six cents (.116 cents) in the dollar on the unimproved
value of all rateable property in the County of Hobson; and
that the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during
the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 20th day
of August in each and every year during the currency of the
loan, being a period of 30 years, or until the loan is fully
paid off.”
The above resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the
Hobson County Council held on the 15th day of December
1967.

WAIRERE ELECTRIC POWER BOARD
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Reticulation Loan 1967—$30,000
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Wairere Electric Power Board hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing for payment of principal,
interest, and other charges on a loan of $30,000 known
as the Reticulation Loan 1967 and authorised to be raised by
the Wairere Electric Power Board under the above-mentioned
Act for the purpose of meeting the cost of new construction
and reconstruction of lines throughout the Board’s area of
supply, the said Wairere Electric Power Board hereby makes
and levies a special rate of decimal two of one cent (.2c)
in the dollar upon the rateable value (on the basis of the
unimproved value) of all rateable property within the Wai-
rere Electric Power District; and that such special rate shall
be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such
loan, being a period of 15 years, or until the loan is fully
paid off.”
I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy
of a resolution passed at a meeting of the Wairere Electric
Power Board held on Thursday, 21 December 1967.

WAITEMATA ELECTRIC POWER BOARD
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Reticulation Extension and Reinforcement Loan (1967)
$1,600,000
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by the Electrical Power Boards Act 1925, the
Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, and amendments and
regulations made thereunder respectively and all other powers
it enabling, the Board hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing half-yearly instalments
of interest and yearly instalments of principal and other
charges on a loan of $1,600,000, authorised to be raised by
the Waitemata Electric Power Board under the above-
mentioned enactments in order to provide moneys for the
purpose of extending and reinforcing the reticulation system
throughout the whole of the Waitemata Electric Power
District, the Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of
0.0536 cents in the dollar upon the rateable value (being the
capital value) of all the rateable property within the whole
of the Waitemata Electric Power District as defined in the
Proclamation appearing in the New Zealand Gazette dated
18 October 1923 and amended by Proclamations appearing
in the New Zealand Gazettes dated 27 November 1924, 26
August 1926, 7 March 1929, 24 January 1935, 14 April 1954,
and by section 44 of the Local Legislation Act 1961; and that
such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during
the currency of such loan, and shall be payable yearly on
