NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

NOTICE is hereby given that the Napier City Council proposes, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to execute a certain public work, namely, to widen portion of Carlyle Street in the City of Napier and for the purpose of such public work the land described in the First Schedule hereto is required to be taken for street; and also that the Napier City Council, deeming it expedient in connection with the said public work, proposes to take, under the provisions of section 191 of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and section 47 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953, the land described in the Second Schedule hereto.
And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Town Clerk to the said Council situate in Tennyson Street, Napier, and is open for inspection without fee by all persons during ordinary office hours.
All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of such land should, if they have any objection to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said land, not being objections to the amount or payment of compensation, set forth the same in writing and send the written objection within 40 days of the first publication of this notice (see note below) to the Town Clerk at his office aforesaid and that if any objection is made in accordance with this notice a public hearing of the objection will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.
FIRST SCHEDULE

All that piece of land containing 1.93 perches, more or less, being part Town Section 187, Napier, and part Lot 1, Deeds Plan 916, being part of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, H.B. Volume 58, folio 159, coloured yellow on plan numbered 5352 deposited in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Napier, being part of that property situate at and known as No. 46 Carlyle Street, Napier, situated in the City of Napier in the Land Registration District and Land District of Hawke’s Bay.

All that piece of land containing 1.76 perches, more or less, being part Town Section 187, Napier, being part Lots 4 and 5, Deeds Plan 783, after deducting Lot 1, Deeds Plan 916, being part of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, H.B. Volume 53, folio 54; coloured yellow on the plan numbered 5352 deposited in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Napier, being part of that property situate at and known as No. 48 Carlyle Street, Napier, situated in the City of Napier in the Land Registration District and Land District of Hawke’s Bay.
SECOND SCHEDULE
ALL that piece of land containing 21.34 perches, more or less, being part Town Section 187, Napier, part Lot 1, Deeds Plan 916, being the balance of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, H.B. Volume 58, folio 159, after deduction of the area of 1.93 perches described in the first part of the First Schedule above; bordered yellow on the plan numbered 5352 deposited in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Napier, being part of that property situate at and known as No. 46 Carlyle Street, Napier, situated in the City of Napier in the Land Registration District and Land District of Hawke’s Bay.
The land affected, as already stated, is situated at Carlyle Street, Napier.

This notice was first published in the Napier Daily Telegraph newspaper on the 22nd day of December 1967 and objections accordingly must be sent under the provisions of the notice before the 1st day of February 1968.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Whakatane County Council proposes, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to execute a certain public work, namely, the construction of a public road, and for the purpose of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken, and notice is hereby given that a plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited at the offices of the said Council situate at the Strand, Whakatane, and is open for inspection without fee by all persons during ordinary office hours. All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said land must state their objections in writing and send the same before the 10th day of March 1968 to the Clerk of the said Council at the said office.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR THE PURPOSE OF SOIL CONSERVATION AND RIVER CONTROL

IN the matter of the Public Works Act 1928 and its amendments and in the matter of the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Act 1941 and its amendments, notice is hereby given that the North Canterbury Catchment Board intends to take, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, all those parcels of land containing together 2 acres 2 roods 16 perches situated in Block XI of the Rangiora Survey District and described in the Schedule hereto for the purposes of soil conservation and river control. A plan of the said lands is deposited at the public office of the North Canterbury Catchment Board, 21 Latimer Square, Christchurch, and is there open for inspection by all persons during normal business hours. All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said lands are hereby required and called upon to set forth in writing any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said lands (not being an objection to the amount for payment of compensation) and to send such objection in writing within forty days (40) from the first publication of this notice to the Secretary of the North Canterbury Catchment Board, 21 Latimer Square, Christchurch.
