MATAURA BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Mataura Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on the loan of $12,500, authorised to be raised by the Mataura Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the erection of a library and alterations to the office accommodation, the said Mataura Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought three two five three cents (.03253c) in the dollar upon the rateable value of all rateable property within the Borough of Mataura; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the first day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of ten (10) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

DUNEDIN CITY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Abattoir Loan 1967 of $80,000
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Dunedin City Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $80,000, authorised to be raised by the Dunedin City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of completing the improvements necessary to bring the city abattoir up to standard, the said Dunedin City Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.0125 cent in the dollar ($) upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the City of Dunedin, comprising the whole of the City of Dunedin; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the first day of June in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of twenty (20) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy of the resolution passed by the Dunedin City Council on the above-mentioned date.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Office Housing Loan No. 4, 1967—$30,000
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that at a meeting of the Hauraki Catchment Board, held on 20 December 1967, the following resolution was passed:
Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Hauraki Catchment Board hereby resolves as follows:
“1. That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $30,000, authorised to be raised by the Hauraki Catchment Board under the above-mentioned Act for extending the office building and providing staff housing, the said Hauraki Catchment Board hereby makes a special rate of 0.00117 cents in the $ upon the rateable capital value of all rateable property of the Hauraki Catchment District, comprising the whole of the said Hauraki Catchment District; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
“2. The Hauraki Catchment Board doth hereby appropriate and pledge as security for the said loan the annual-recurring rate of 0.00117 cents in the $ on all rateable property in the Hauraki Catchment District on the basis of the capital value, made by resolution of the Board dated 20 December 1967.”

CHEVIOT COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Cheviot County Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $153,000, authorised to be raised by the Cheviot County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of constructing a reticulated water supply to serve part of the County of Cheviot, the Cheviot County Council hereby makes a special rate of point three of a cent ($0.003) in the dollar on the unimproved rateable value of all rateable property in the whole of the County of Cheviot; this special rate to be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, payable yearly on the 1st day of September in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 30 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
Passed at an ordinary meeting of the Cheviot County Council on 21 December 1967.

Abattoir Improvement Additional Loan 1967 of $7,000
NOTICE is hereby given that at a meeting of the above Council held on the 20th day of December 1967, the following resolution was passed:
Pursuant to the provisions of the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Te Kuiti Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of seven thousand dollars ($7,000), authorised to be raised by the Te Kuiti Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of completing the extensions to the municipal abattoir including the provision of a cool room and equipment, the said Te Kuiti Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought four cents ($0.0004) in the dollar on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property within the whole of the Borough of Te Kuiti; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of fifteen (15) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Taupo Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of twenty-eight thousand dollars ($28,000), authorised to be raised by the Taupo Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of repaying on maturity portion of the Water Supply Loan 1955—$260,000, which matures on 1 March 1968, the said Taupo Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought five nought one six cents in the dollar (.05016c in the $) upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Borough of Taupo comprising the whole of the Borough of Taupo; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 10 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
