And that the said petition is directed to be heard before the Court sitting at Auckland, on the 18th day of December 1967, at 10 o’clock in the forenoon; and any creditor or contributory of the said company desirous to support or oppose the making of an order on the said petition may appear at the time of hearing in person or by his counsel for that purpose; and a copy of the petition will be furnished by the undersigned to any creditor or contributory of the said company requiring a copy on payment of the regulated charge for same.

Notice of Meeting of Creditors
IN the matter of the Companies Act 1955, and in the matter of Malcolm Transport Ltd. (receiver appointed), notice is hereby given that by an entry in its minute book, signed in accordance with section 362 (1) of the Companies Act 1955, the above-named company on the 1st day of December 1967 passed a resolution for voluntary winding up, and that a meeting of the creditors of the company will be held, pursuant to section 284 of the Companies Act 1955, in the board room of the Automobile Association Southland (Inc.), Kelvin Street, Invercargill, on the 11th day of December 1967, at 2 p.m., at which meeting a full statement of the position of the company’s affairs together with a list of the creditors and the estimated amount of their claims will be laid before the meeting and at which meeting the creditors may:

NOTICE is hereby given that the partnership heretofore subsisting between George Leonard Clough, James Horrey, and William James Horrey, all of Picton, launch masters, carrying on business at Picton aforesaid as a passenger launch and transport service under the firm name or style of Queen Charlotte Launches, has been dissolved by mutual consent as from the 30th day of November 1967.
Business will be carried on as from the 1st day of December 1967 under the firm name or style of Queen Charlotte Launches by the said James Horrey, William James Horrey, and Gladys Vera Horrey.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR ROAD AND FOR SEVERANCE
PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that the Taranaki County Council proposes, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to take for road the portions of land described in the First Schedule hereto and to take for severance the portions of land described in the Second Schedule hereto. A plan showing the land proposed to be taken for road and the land proposed to be taken for severance is available for public inspection at the office of the Taranaki County Council, Robe Street, New Plymouth, for forty (40) days from the date of the first publication of this notice and all persons having objections to either of the above proposals are hereby called upon to set forth their objections in writing and to lodge the same in the office of the Council on or before the 31st day of January 1968.

PIAKO COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Rural Housing Loan No. 2, 1967—$200,000
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Piako County Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $200,000, authorised to be raised by the Piako County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of making advances to farmers under the Rural Housing Act 1939, the said Piako County Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought nought nought eight four of a dollar (.00084c) in the dollar ($) upon the rateable value of all rateable property within the County of Piako, and that the said special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the said loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the said loan, being a period of twenty-five (25) years, or until the loan is fully repaid.”
The foregoing resolution was passed at a special meeting of the Piako County Council held in the Administration Buildings and Council Chambers, 35 Kenrick Street, Te Aroha, on Monday, the 27th day of November 1967.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Rural Housing Loan 1967: $30,000—Second Instalment of $6,000
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Waipawa County Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of six thousand dollars ($6,000), authorised to be raised by the Waipawa County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of making advances to farmers for housing under the Rural Housing Act 1939, the said Waipawa County Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal point nought nought three four one six six (.0034166) cents in the dollar ($) upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the County of Waipawa; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 15th day of August in each year and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
