Setting Apart Maori Freehold Land as a Maori Reservation

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington this 29th day of November 1967
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE ADMINISTRATOR OF THE GOVERNMENT IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 439 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby sets apart the Maori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto as a Maori reservation, for the purpose of a meeting place, recreation and sports ground for the common use and benefit of the owners and members of the Ngati Te Wehi tribe and related subtribes, and to be called "Okapu Marae".

PURSUANT to section 104 of the Rating Act 1925, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby exempts the Maori freehold lands named in the Schedule hereto from all rates made or levied under the provisions of the Rating Act 1925, up to and including the 31st day of March 1969.

The Clarence Bridge Cemetery Closing Order 1967

PURSUANT to the Burial and Cremation Act 1964, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.
ORDER

  1. This order may be cited as the Clarence Bridge Cemetery Closing Order 1967.
  2. It is hereby directed that the Clarence Bridge Cemetery, being the area described in the Schedule hereto, shall be closed and burials therein discontinued after the 30th day of June 1968.
  3. As from the 30th day of June 1968 the control and management of the closed Clarence Bridge Cemetery shall vest in the Kaikoura County Council.
    SCHEDULE
    ALL that area in the Marlborough Land District containing 1 acre, more or less, being part Section 11, Block XI, Puhi Puhi Survey District, and being all the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 24, folio 165, Marlborough Registry.

    Alteration and Extension of the Boundaries of the Ohura North Rabbit District (Notice No. Ag. 10174)

    HIS EXCELLENCY THE ADMINISTRATOR OF THE GOVERNMENT IN COUNCIL
    PURSUANT to the Rabbits Act 1955, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.
    ORDER
  4. (1) This order may be cited as the Ohura North Rabbit District Order 1967.
    (2) This order shall come into force on the day after the date of its notification in the Gazette.
  5. The boundaries of the Ohura North Rabbit District, which was constituted by Order in Council on the 20th day of August 1941*, are hereby altered and redefined and, as from the commencement of this order, the boundaries of the said district shall be those specified in the Schedule hereto.
    SCHEDULE
    BOUNDARIES OF THE OHURA NORTH RABBIT DISTRICT
    ALL that area in the Taranaki Land District, comprising portions of the Taumarunui and Waitomo Counties containing 132,630 acres, more or less, bounded by a line commencing at a point in the middle of the Ongarue River in line with the southern boundary of Block III, Tangitu Survey District, and proceeding southerly down the middle of that river to the south-western boundary of the Stratford-Okahukura railway, thence generally northerly and westerly along the south-western boundary of that railway to the western boundary of Section 26, Block II, Rangi Survey District; thence southerly along the western boundary of the said Section 26 to the south-eastern boundary of part Section 8, Block I, Rangi Survey District; thence south-westerly generally along the south-eastern boundary of that section and its production across Opotiki Road to the southern side of that road; thence westerly and southerly along the southern side of that road and the southern and eastern sides of Ararimu East Road to a point in line with the southern boundary of part Section 7, Block I, Rangi Survey District; thence westerly along a right line across Ararimu East Road to and westerly generally along the southern boundary of the said part Section 7 to the eastern boundary of part Lot 3, D.P. 2717; thence southerly to the south-eastern corner of the said part Lot 3; thence westerly along the southern boundaries of part Lot 3, D.P. 2717, part Lot 2, D.P. 2717, and part Lot 1, D.P. 2716 to the easternmost corner of Section 7, Block IV, Ohura Survey District; thence westerly generally along the southern boundaries of the said Section 7, part Section 6, and part Section 4, Block IV, Ohura Survey District to the north-eastern corner of part Section 9, Block III, Ohura Survey District; thence south-westerly generally along the eastern and south-eastern boundaries of the said part Section 9, to Waitangata Road; thence along a right line across that road to and along the south-eastern boundary of part Section 1, Block VII, Ohura Survey District to Tiro Trig.; thence south-westerly along a right line to Wharehanga Trig. and further along a right line to the easternmost corner of part Section 7, Block VII, Ohura Survey District; thence westerly generally along the southern boundary of the said Block VII to a point due east of the intersection of the northern side of Huia Road with the western side of Kopuha Road; thence due west to and generally westerly along the northern side of Huia Road to and northerly along the western boundary of part Section 3s, Huia Settlement to and northerly generally along the eastern side of Ohura Road to a point in line with
