GISBORNE CITY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Renewal Loan No. 2, 1967 of $46,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Gisborne City Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $46,000, authorised to be raised by the Gisborne City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of repaying portions of the Sewerage Loan 1960, the Renewal Loan 1964, and the Waterworks Renewal Loan 1962 maturing on 1 December 1967, 1 March 1968, and 4 March 1968, the Gisborne City Council hereby makes a special rate of three one-hundredths of a cent (.03c) in the dollar on the rateable value of all rateable property comprising the whole of the City of Gisborne; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 20 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

The foregoing resolution was passed at a meeting of the Gisborne City Council held on 21 November 1967.

NEW PLYMOUTH CITY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

PURSUANT to the provisions of the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the New Plymouth City Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of two hundred thousand dollars ($200,000) to be known as the Electricity Reticulation and Development Loan 1967, authorised to be raised by the New Plymouth City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of extending, developing, and improving, the electricity reticulation system within its area of supply, the New Plymouth City Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal one one cents (.11c) in the dollar ($) upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property within the City of New Plymouth; and that the said special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable half yearly on the 1st day of April and the 1st day of October in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of twenty (20) years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

The above resolution was passed at a meeting of the New Plymouth City Council held on the 20th day of November 1967.

COUNTY OF HOROWHENUA

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

"THAT in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Counties Act 1956 and amendments and the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and amendments and regulations thereunder, and all other powers thereunto enabling it the Horowhenua Council hereby resolves as follows:

'That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of seven thousand two hundred and fifty dollars ($7,250), authorised to be raised by the Horowhenua County Council under the above-mentioned Acts for the purpose of meeting part of the cost of erecting a new fire station and ancilliary works and fittings at Shannon, the said Horowhenua County Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.1729 of a cent in the dollar upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Shannon County Town; and that the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the said loan or until the loan is fully paid off.' "

PICTON BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Dublin Street Bridge Loan 1967—$11,400

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Picton Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $11,400, authorised to be raised by the Picton Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of constructing a two way traffic bridge across the Waitohi Stream at Dublin Street and also to carry out certain connected works such as approaches, the said Picton Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.039 cents in the dollar on the unimproved rateable value of all rateable property appearing on the valuation roll of the Borough of Picton; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 20 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

NELSON HARBOUR BOARD

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Nelson Harbour Board hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $247,000, authorised to be raised by the Nelson Harbour Board for the purpose of carrying out certain harbour works on the Nelson Harbour as authorised by the Nelson Harbour Board Empowering Act 1956, the said Nelson Harbour Board hereby makes a special rate of 0.001387 of a dollar in the dollar upon the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property in the Nelson Harbour Board District and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on 1 October in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Dunedin City Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a renewal loan of $59,000, authorised to be raised by the Dunedin City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of refinancing a loan due for repayment during the current financial year, the said Dunedin City Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.0241 cent in the dollar ($) upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the City of Dunedin; and that the special rate shall be an annual recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of June in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of five (5) years, or until the loan is fully paid off."
