Renewal Loans 1967
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Dunedin City Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
the renewal loans detailed in the Schedule hereunder, authorised
to be raised by the Dunedin City Council under the above-
mentioned Act for the purpose of refinancing loans due for
repayment during the current financial year, the said Dunedin
City Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.0816 of a cent
in the dollar ($) upon the rateable value of all rateable
property of the City of Dunedin, comprising the whole of the
City of Dunedin; and that the special rate shall be an
annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loans and
be payable yearly on the 1st day of June in each and every
year during the currency of the loans, being a period of ten
(10) years, or until the loans are fully paid off:"

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Development and Expansion Loan 1966, $500,000βSecond
Issue of $100,000
"THAT, pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, and
for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan
of $100,000, authorised to be raised by the Invercargill City
Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of
developing and expanding the waterworks, drainage and
street systems of the city, including sewage treatment plant
and houses for attendants, the said Invercargill City Council
hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought two four cents
(.024c) in the dollar on the rateable value on the basis of the
unimproved value of all rateable property in the City of
Invercargill; and that the said special rate shall be payable
yearly on the 15th day of December in each and every year
during the currency of the loan, being a period of 30 years,
or until the loan is fully paid off."
I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy
of a resolution passed at a meeting of the Invercargill City
Council, held on Tuesday, 21 November 1967.

Notice of Application for Consent to Conditional Use
NOTICE is hereby given that application has been made by J.H.
Thomas and Co. Ltd., a duly incorporated company having
its registered office in Invercargill, for consent to establish a
timber yard.
The property is on the south-eastern corner of York Road
and Brighton Street, Township of Riversdale.
The legal description of the land is all that piece of land
containing 2 roods, more or less, being Lots 1 and 2, Block
XIX, Deposited Plan 67, Township of Riversdale, being
the balance of the land in certificate of title, Volume 200,
folio 115, Southland Registry.
The application may be examined at the office of the
Southland County Council, Clyde Street, Invercargill, during
normal office hours and any person or body affected may
object to the application by notice in writing delivered to
the County Clerk, Southland Council Council, P.O. Box 903,
Invercargill, not later than 4 p.m., on the 28th day of
December 1967.
Every objector shall state the grounds of the objection
and whether the objector wishes to be heard by the Council
in support of his objections.

PICTON BOROUGH COUNCIL
NOTICE OF MAKING OF SPECIAL ORDER TO RAISE LOAN
PURSUANT to section 13 (2A) of the Local Authorities Loans
Act 1956, notice is hereby given that the special order to
raise a loan of $11,400, to be known as the Dublin Street
Bridge Loan 1967, for the purpose of constructing a two-way
traffic bridge across the Waitohi Stream at Dublin Street and
also to carry out certain connected works such as approaches,
has been duly made in terms of the relevant statute and that
5 percent or more of the ratepayers have not demanded that
a poll be taken on the proposal.
