NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to execute a certain public work, namely, the construction of a road and for the purposes of that public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken; and notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited at the offices of the Raglan County Council, Great South Road, Ngaruawahia, and is there open for inspection, that all persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said land should, if they have any objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said land, not being objections to the amount or payment of compensation, set forth the same in writing and send the written objection within 40 days of the first publication of this notice to the offices of the Raglan County Council; and that, if any objection is made in accordance with this notice, a public hearing of the objection will be held unless the objector otherwise requires and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.

MATAMATA COUNTY COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

IN the matter of the Public Works Act 1928, notice is hereby given that the Matamata County Council proposes under the provisions of the above-mentioned Act to take the land described in the First Schedule hereto for road and to take the land described in the Second Schedule hereto for the use, convenience, or enjoyment of a road; and notice is hereby further given that a plan showing the land proposed to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Clerk of the above Council situated at Tirau and is open for inspection (without fee) by all persons during ordinary office hours. Every person affected who wishes to make any objection to the taking of the said land (not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation) must state his objection in writing and lodge the same at the office of the County Clerk on or before the 10th day of January 1968. If any such objection is made a public hearing of the objection will be held unless the objector otherwise requires and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.

IN the matter of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and in the matter of the Public Works Act 1928, notice is hereby given that the Nelson City Council proposes under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts to execute a certain public work, namely, the widening of Victoria Road in the City of Nelson, and for the purposes of such public work the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken; and notice is hereby further given that a plan of the lands so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Town Clerk to the said Council situate in Trafalgar Street and is open for inspection without fee by all persons during ordinary office hours. COROMANDEL COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Bridge Construction Loan 1966—$30,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Coromandel County Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $30,000 to be known as the Bridge Construction Loan 1966, authorised to be raised by the Coromandel County Council under the said Act for the purpose of meeting the Council’s share of the cost of replacing bridges in the County, the said Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal one six six cents in the dollar upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the Ridings of Colville, Waiau, Mercury Bay, and Whenuakite; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 35 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
