RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Drainage (Renewal) Loan No. 40, 1964—£968,400 ($1,936,800)

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and the Auckland Regional Authority Act 1963, the Auckland Regional Authority has resolved to the following effect:

“That, for the purposes of providing the annual charges on the above loan, authorised to be raised by the Auckland Regional Authority under the above-mentioned Acts prior to 31 March 1965, for renewing the unpaid balance of a loan raised by the Auckland Metropolitan Drainage Board in connection with its drainage and sewerage undertaking, which liability was taken over by the Auckland Regional Authority in terms of section 43 of the Auckland Regional Authority Act 1963, the Auckland Regional Authority hereby makes a special rate of the several amounts in the pound set out in the fourth column of the Schedule hereto on the rateable values set against such amounts respectively in the third column of such Schedule, of all rateable property of the local authorities listed in the first column of such Schedule and set out against such amounts and rateable values respectively, and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, which shall be for a period of 25 years from 1 April 1964, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

Drainage (Redemption) Loan No. 42, 1964—£714,000 ($1,428,000)

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and the Auckland Regional Authority Act 1963, the Auckland Regional Authority has resolved to the following effect:

“That, for the purposes of providing the annual charges on a loan of £714,000, authorised to be raised by the Auckland Regional Authority under the above-mentioned Acts prior to 31 March 1965, for redeeming the unpaid balance of a loan authorised to be raised by the former Auckland Metropolitan Drainage Board in connection with its drainage and sewerage undertaking, which liability was taken over by the Auckland Regional Authority in terms of section 43 of the Auckland Regional Authority Act 1963, plus the costs of raising such loan, the Auckland Regional Authority hereby makes a special rate of the several amounts in the pound set out in the fourth column of the Schedule hereto on the rateable values set against such amounts respectively in the third column of such Schedule, of all rateable property of the Local Authorities listed in the first column of such Schedule, and set out against such amounts and rateable values respectively, and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, which shall be for a period of 25 years from 1 September 1964, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and the Auckland Regional Authority Act 1963, the Auckland Regional Authority has resolved to the following effect:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on the above loan, authorised to be raised by the Auckland Regional Authority under the above-mentioned Acts prior to 31 March 1965, for redeeming the unpaid balances of several loans raised by the former Auckland Metropolitan Drainage Board in connection with its drainage and sewerage undertaking, which liability was taken over by the Auckland Regional Authority in terms of section 43 of the Auckland Regional Authority Act 1963, plus the costs of raising such loan, the Auckland Regional Authority hereby makes a special rate of the several amounts in the pound set out in the fourth column of the Schedule hereto on the rateable values set out against such amounts respectively in the third column of such Schedule, of all rateable property of the local authorities listed in the first column of such Schedule and set out against such amounts and rateable values respectively, and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, which shall, at the lender’s option, be for periods of six and 10 years from 5 June 1964, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

Drainage Loan No. 47, 1966—£100,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and the Auckland Regional Authority Act 1963, the Auckland Regional Authority has resolved to the following effect:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £100,000, authorised to be raised by the Auckland Regional Authority under the above-mentioned Acts for the purposes of:

(a) The reconstruction of certain existing sewers.
(b) The construction of five new grit chambers.
(c) Further sewer investigations.
(d) The purchase of investigational equipment.

The Auckland Regional Authority hereby makes a special rate of the several amounts in the pound set out in the fourth column of the Schedule hereto on the rateable values set out against such amounts respectively in the third column of such Schedule, of all rateable property of the local authorities listed in the first column of such Schedule and set out against such amounts and rateable values respectively, and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, which shall, at the lenders option, be for periods of six, 10, and 20 years from 1 March 1967, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
