RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Transport (Redemption) Loan No. 3, 1965—£120,000 ($240,000)

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and the Auckland Regional Authority Act 1963, the Auckland Regional Authority has resolved to the following effect:

“That, for the purposes of providing the annual charges on the above loan, authorised to be raised by the Auckland Regional Authority under the above-mentioned Acts prior to 31 March 1965, for the purpose of redeeming the balance of a loan raised by the former Auckland Transport Board in connection with its passenger transport undertaking, which liabilities were taken over by the Auckland Regional Authority in terms of section 45 of the Auckland Regional Authority Act 1963, the Auckland Regional Authority hereby makes a special rate of the several amounts in the pound set out in the fourth column of the Schedule hereto on the rateable values set against such amounts respectively in the third column of such Schedule, of all rateable property of the local authorities listed in the first column of such Schedule and set out against such amounts and rateable values respectively, and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, which shall, at the lender’s option, be for six-monthly periods commencing on 28 March 1965 and ending on 28 March 1974, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

Reserves Loan No. 1, 1964—£1,000,000 ($2,000,000)—First Issue £350,000 ($700,000)

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and the Auckland Regional Authority Act 1963, the Auckland Regional Authority has resolved to the following effect:

“That, for the purposes of providing the annual charges on a loan authorised to be raised by the Auckland Regional Authority under the above-mentioned Acts prior to 31 March 1965, for the purposes of and incidental to the acquisition of land for regional reserves, the Auckland Regional Authority hereby makes a special rate of the several amounts in the pound set out in the fourth column of the Schedule hereto on the rateable values set against such amounts respectively in the third column of such Schedule, of all rateable property of the local authorities listed in the first column of such Schedule and set out against such amounts and rateable values respectively, and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, which shall, at the lender’s option, be for periods of six, 10, and 20 years from 21 December 1964, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

Transport Redemption Loan No. 5, 1967—£50,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and the Auckland Regional Authority Act 1963, the Auckland Regional Authority has resolved to the following effect:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £50,000, authorised to be raised by the Auckland Regional Authority under the above-mentioned Acts for redeeming the unpaid balance of the Auckland Transport Board Modernisation and Development Loan 1951 issue of £300,000 (portion £50,000), raised by the former Auckland Transport Board in connection with its passenger transport undertaking, which liabilities were taken over by the Auckland Regional Authority in terms of section 45 of the Auckland Regional Authority Act 1963, the Auckland Regional Authority hereby makes a special rate of the several amounts in the pound set out in the fourth column of the Schedule hereto on the rateable values set against such amounts respectively in the third column of such Schedule, of all rateable property of the local authorities listed in the first column of such Schedule and set out against such amounts and rateable values respectively, and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, which shall, at the lender’s option, be for six-monthly periods commencing on 28 March 1967 and ending on 28 March 1974, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and the Auckland Regional Authority Act 1963, the Auckland Regional Authority has resolved to the following effect:

“That, for the purposes of providing the annual charges on the above loan, raised by the Auckland Regional Authority under the above-mentioned Acts prior to the 31st day of March 1965, for the purposes of meeting the costs and expenses of and incidental to carrying out works of the first and second stages of the Manukau Drainage Scheme and also new works giving service to the inner area of the Auckland Metropolitan Drainage District, the Auckland Regional Authority hereby makes a special rate of the several amounts in the pound set out in the fourth column of the Schedule hereto on the rateable values set against such amounts respectively in the third column of such Schedule, of all rateable property of the local authorities listed in the first column of such Schedule and set out against such amounts and rateable values respectively, and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, which shall be at the lender’s option for periods of six, 10, and 20 years from 21 September 1964, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
