RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Drainage (Redemption) Loan No. 48, 1966—£191,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and the Auckland Regional Authority Act 1963, the Auckland Regional Authority has resolved to the following effect:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £191,000, authorised to be raised by the Auckland Regional Authority under the above-mentioned Acts, for redeeming the unpaid balance of a loan raised by the former Auckland Metropolitan Drainage Board in connection with its drainage and sewerage undertaking, which liability was taken over by the Auckland Regional Authority in terms of section 43 of the Auckland Regional Authority Act 1963, plus the costs of raising such loan, the Auckland Regional Authority hereby makes a special rate of the several amounts in the pound set out in the fourth column of the Schedule hereto on the rateable values set against such amounts respectively in the third column of such Schedule, of all rateable property of the local authorities listed in the first column of such Schedule and set out against such amounts and rateable values respectively, and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, which shall be for a period of 25 years from 31 March 1967, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and the Auckland Regional Authority Act 1963, the Auckland Regional Authority has resolved to the following effect:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £22,500, authorised to be raised by the Auckland Regional Authority under the above-mentioned Acts for redeeming the unpaid balance of a loan raised by the former Auckland Metropolitan Drainage Board in connection with its drainage and sewerage undertaking, which liability was taken over by the Auckland Regional Authority in terms of section 43 of the Auckland Regional Authority Act 1963, plus the costs of raising such loan, the Auckland Regional Authority hereby makes a special rate of the several amounts in the pound set out in the fourth column of the Schedule hereto on the rateable values set against such amounts respectively in the third column of such Schedule, of all rateable property of the local authorities listed in the first column of such Schedule and set out against such amounts and rateable values respectively, and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, which shall be for a period of 20 years from 1 May 1967, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

Drainage (Redemption) Loan No. 50, 1967—$307,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and the Auckland Regional Authority Act 1963, the Auckland Regional Authority has resolved to the following effect:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $307,000, authorised to be raised by the Auckland Regional Authority under the above-mentioned Acts for redeeming the unpaid balances of several loans raised by the former Auckland Metropolitan Drainage Board in connection with its drainage and sewerage undertaking, which liability was taken over by the Auckland Regional Authority in terms of section 43 of the Auckland Regional Authority Act 1963, plus the costs of raising such loan, the Auckland Regional Authority hereby makes a special rate of the several amounts in the dollar set out in the fourth column of the Schedule hereto on the rateable values set against such amounts respectively in the third column of such Schedule, of all rateable property of the local authorities listed in the first column of such Schedule and set out against such amounts and rateable values respectively and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, which shall, at the lenders option, be for periods of six, 10, and 20 years from 8 August 1967, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

Bulk Water Supply Loan No. 1, 1965—£580,000 ($1,160,000)—Third Issue £200,000 ($400,000)

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and the Auckland Regional Authority Act 1963 the Auckland Regional Authority has resolved to the following effect:

“That, for the purposes of providing the annual charges on a loan of $400,000, authorised to be raised by the Auckland Regional Authority under the above-mentioned Acts for the purposes of meeting the costs of and incidental to the construction of

(a) The completion of the Upper Mangatawhiri Dam and Mangatangi Aqueduct.

(b) Further extensions to the Ardmore Filter Station.

(c) Investigations and preliminary work for future headworks in the Unua and Waitakere Reserves.

(d) Progress upgrading of trunk mains for both Reserves.

The Auckland Regional Authority hereby makes a special rate of the several amounts in the pound set out in the fourth column of the Schedule hereto on the rateable values set out against such amounts respectively in the third column of such Schedule, of all rateable property of the local authorities listed in the first column of such Schedule and set against such amounts and rateable values respectively, and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, which shall, at the lender’s option, be for periods of six, 10, and 20 years from 1 February 1966, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
