RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Airport Loan No. 1, 1964—£2,500,000 ($5,000,000)—First Issue £200,000 ($400,000)

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and the Auckland Regional Authority Act 1963, the Auckland Regional Authority has resolved to the following effect:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £200,000, authorised to be raised by the Auckland Regional Authority under the above-mentioned Acts prior to 31 March 1965, for the purpose of meeting part of the Authority’s portion of the cost of the Auckland International Airport in terms of section 40 of the Auckland Regional Authority Act 1963, plus the costs of raising such loan, the Auckland Regional Authority hereby makes a special rate of the several amounts in the pound set out in the fourth column of the Schedule hereto, on the rateable values set against such amounts respectively in the third column of such Schedule, of all rateable property of the Local Authorities listed in the first column of such Schedule and set out against such amounts and rateable values respectively, and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, which shall, at the lender’s option, be for periods of six, 10, and 20 years from 23rd November 1964, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

Airport Loan No. 1, 1964—$5,000,000—Fourth Issue $150,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and the Auckland Regional Authority Act 1963, the Auckland Regional Authority has resolved to the following effect:

“That, for the purposes of providing the annual charges on a loan of $150,000, authorised to be raised by the Auckland Regional Authority under the above-mentioned Acts for the purposes of meeting the Authority’s share of the capital expenditure at the Auckland International Airport and other miscellaneous capital costs to 31 March 1968, the Auckland Regional Authority hereby makes a special rate of the several amounts in the dollar set out in the fourth column of the Schedule hereto attached on the rateable values set against such amounts respectively in the third column of such Schedule, of all rateable property of the local authorities listed in the first column of such Schedule and set out against such amounts and rateable values respectively, and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, which shall, at the lender’s option, be for periods of six, 10, or 20 years from 1 September 1967, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Transit Survey Loan 1964—£35,000 ($70,000)

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act and the Auckland Regional Authority Act 1963, the Auckland Regional Authority has resolved to the following effect:

“That, for the purposes of providing the annual charges on the above loan, authorised to be raised by the Auckland Regional Authority prior to 31 March 1965, for the purposes of meeting the costs and expenses of and incidental to the Transit Survey being carried out on behalf of the Auckland Regional Authority, the Auckland Regional Authority hereby makes a special rate of the several amounts in the pound set out in the fourth column of the Schedule hereto on the rateable values set against such amounts respectively in the third column of such Schedule, of all rateable property of the local authorities listed in the first column of such Schedule and set out against such amounts and rateable values respectively, and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan which shall be for a period of 10 years from the 21st day of December 1964, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
