PALMERSTON NORTH CITY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
In the matter of the Public Works Act 1928, and its Amendments, notice is hereby given that the Palmerston North City Council intends to take, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, the lands described in the Schedule hereto for the purposes of street. A plan of the said lands is deposited at the public office of the Palmerston North City Council, The Square, Palmerston North, and is there open for inspection by all persons at all reasonable hours. All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said lands are hereby required and called upon to set forth in writing any objection to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said lands (not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation), and to send such writing, within forty (40) days from the first publication of this notice, to the Town Clerk of the City of Palmerston North. If any such objection is made a public hearing of the same will be held unless the objector otherwise requires and each objector will be advised of the time and place of such hearing.
SCHEDULE
ONE DECIMAL SIX PERCHES (1.6 p.), more or less, being part Lot 8, D.P. 26, being part Section 337, Town of Palmerston North, being part of the land in C.T. 82/204; as the same is more particularly coloured blue on Survey Office Plan 26976. The above-described lands are part of No. 301 Main Street, Palmerston North.

RANGITIKEI COUNTY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR ROAD
NOTICE is hereby given that the Rangitikei County Council proposes, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to execute a certain public work, namely, the construction of a road, and for the purposes of that public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken.
And notice is hereby further given that the plan showing the land so required to be taken is deposited in the offices of Messrs Evans, Easther, Harris, and Goodman, Solicitors, 335 Wellington Road, Marton, and is there open for inspection, without fee, during ordinary office hours.
All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said land should, if they have any objection to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said land, not being objections to the amount or payment of compensation, set forth the same in writing and send the written objection within 40 days of the first publication of this notice to Messrs Evans, Easther, Harris, and Goodman, at the above address.
If any objection is made in accordance with this notice, a public hearing of the objection will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.

PATANGATA COUNTY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF CLOSING OF ROAD
THE Patangata County Council hereby gives notice that it intends to close the following piece of road:
ALL that piece of land situate in the Provincial District of Hawke’s Bay, containing two (2) acres and thirty-two decimal nine (32.9) perches, more or less, being Section 3, Block II, Tautane Survey District, being part of the land in certificate of title, Volume 98, folio 145, shown coloured green on Survey Office Plan No. 5553.
A plan of the above-mentioned road which is part of the road known as Mangamaire Road, being part of State Highway 52, can be inspected at the offices of the Patangata County Council. Any objections to the closing are to be made on or before the 10th day of December 1967.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Haywards Sewerage Redemption Loan 1967, $5,600
I certify that the Hutt County Council passed the following resolution at its meeting on 18 October 1967:
“Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Hutt County Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $5,600, authorised to be raised by the Hutt County Council under the above-mentioned Act for repaying part of the Haywards Sewerage Loan 1962, $22,000, which matured on 1 October 1967, the Hutt County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of decimal 44 cents in the dollar upon the unimproved value of all rateable property in the No. 62 Special Rating Area, being part of the Epuni Riding of the County of Hutt, and that the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable on 1 October in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

Maoribank - Te Marua Water Redemption Loan 1967 $8,000
I certify that the Hutt County Council passed the following resolution at its meeting on 18 October 1967:
“Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Hutt County Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $8,000, authorised to be raised by the Hutt County Council under the above-mentioned Act for repaying part of the Maoribank - Te Marua Water Supply Loan 1960, $151,000, which matured on 1 October 1967, the Hutt County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of decimal 028 cents in the dollar upon the unimproved value of all rateable property in the No. 60 Special Rating Area, being part of the Rimutaka Riding of the County of Hutt, and that the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable on 1 October in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

OTAMATEA COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SECURITY RATE
Otamatea Kauri and Pioneer Museum Loan 1967, $3,600
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Otamatea County Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £1,800 ($3,600), authorised to be raised by the Otamatea County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of extending the Otamatea Kauri and Pioneer Museum, the said Otamatea County Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought three six six (.0366) cents in the dollar upon the rateable value (on the basis of unimproved value) of all rateable property in the County of Otamatea, and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 10 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
I hereby certify that the foregoing is a true and correct copy of a resolution passed at a meeting of the Otamatea County Council held on Thursday, 25 August 1967.
