AUCKLAND CITY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and amendments, the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and amendment, and regulations thereunder, and of all other powers thereunto enabling it, the Auckland City Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing interest and other charges on a loan of twenty-eight thousand dollars ($28,000), to be known as the Redemption Loan No. 36, 1967, $28,000, which amount is proposed to be raised by the Auckland City Council under the above-mentioned Acts for the purpose of repaying on maturity that portion of the Avondale (Block 76) Housing and Reserve Loan 1954, $261,200, which matures on 1 November 1967, and the cost of raising the loan, the said Auckland City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of point nought nought eight of a cent (.008c) in the dollar ($) on the rateable value (on the basis of the annual value) of all rateable property of Auckland City comprising the whole of the City of Auckland, and that the said special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of June in each and every year during the currency of the said loan, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

TAUPO BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Electrical Reticulation Loan 1967, $138,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Taupo Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of one hundred and thirty-eight thousand dollars, authorised to be raised by the Taupo Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of extending the Council’s electrical reticulation system, the said Taupo Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal one five three six three five cents in the dollar upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Borough of Taupo comprising the whole of the Borough of Taupo, and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 20 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

I hereby certify that the foregoing is a true and correct copy of a resolution passed by the Taupo Borough Council at a meeting held on the 1st day of November 1967.

MASTERTON BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Masterton Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $27,500, authorised to be raised by the Masterton Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the erection of pensioner cottages, the said Masterton Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of .017 cents in the dollar upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the Borough of Masterton, and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable half yearly on the 1st day of April and the 1st day of September in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

WAITAKI COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

THAT in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Waitaki County Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of twelve thousand eight hundred dollars, $12,800, authorised to be raised by the Waitaki County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of providing a water supply in the Omarama Water Supply District, the said Waitaki County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 10.436 cents in the dollar upon the rateable value, on the basis of the unimproved value, of all rateable property in the special rating area comprising the Omarama Water Supply District, and such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of September during the currency of such loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

WAIRARAPA ELECTRIC POWER BOARD

RESOLUTION MAKING SECURITY RATE

Development Loan, 1967, $400,000

“THAT, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $400,000, authorised to be raised by the Wairarapa Electric Power Board under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of supplying and distributing power within the Wairarapa Electric Power District, the said Wairarapa Electric Power Board hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought three five two cents (0.0352c) in the dollar ($) upon the rateable value, on the basis of the capital value of all rateable property of the Wairarapa Electric Power District, and that the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of December in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 20 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

WHAKATANE BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SECURITY RATE

Ancillary Flood Protection Works Loan 1967—$28,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Whakatane Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of twenty-eight thousand dollars ($28,000) authorised to be raised by the Whakatane Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of providing Council’s share of the cost of constructing flood pumping stations and flood pumps, the said Whakatane Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal point nought four four cents (0.044c) in the dollar ($) upon the unimproved rateable value of all rateable property over the whole of the Borough of Whakatane; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan being a period of twenty-five (25) years, or until the said loan is fully paid off.”

I hereby certify that the above resolution was passed at a meeting of the Whakatane Borough Council held on the 25th day of September 1967.

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953

Notice of Application for Consent to a Change of Use

NOTICE is hereby given that application has been made by Fraser James Stewart and Frances Malvena Stewart for consent to a change of use from the draft district scheme of the County of Waitemata in that the applicants wish to use the below described land for the purposes of erecting thereon buildings for use as a garage for the repair of motor vehicles and service station.

The property is situated at 139 Manuka Road, Glenfield, and is located in the residential zone.

The legal description of the land is all that piece of land containing 34.1 perches being Lot 4 on Deposited Plan 54929 and being part of the land described in certificate of title, Volume 1122, folio 205, North Auckland Registry.

The application may be examined at the offices of the Waitemata County Council, 68–70 Greys Avenue, Auckland 1, during normal office hours, and any person or body affected may object to the application by notice in writing delivered to the County Clerk, Waitemata County Council, P.O. Box 5440, Wellesley Street, Auckland, not later than 4 p.m., on the 1st day of December 1967.

Every objector shall state his grounds of objection and whether the objector wishes to be heard by the Council in support of his objection.
