NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
IN the matter of the Public Works Act 1928, notice is hereby
given that the Auckland City Council proposes, under the
provisions of the above-mentioned Act, to execute a certain
public work, namely, development and use of a reclamation
area (proclaimed under part II of the Housing Improvement
Act 1945) in the City of Auckland, and for the purpose of
such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto
is required to be taken, and notice is hereby further given
that a plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in
the public office of the Town Planning Office, Civic Administration Building, Auckland, and is open for public inspection,
without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours.
Every person affected who wishes to make any objection to
the said public work or the taking of the said land, not being
an objection to the amount or payment of compensation, must
state his objection in writing and send the same within 40
days from the first publication of this notice to the Town
Clerk, Civic Administration Building, Auckland. If any
objection is made a public hearing of the objection will be
held unless the objector otherwise requires and each objector
will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.
SCHEDULE
ALL that piece of land containing 6.2 perches, more or less,
situated in the City of Auckland, being Lot 10 of Allotment
6 of Section 43 of the City of Auckland, and being all the
land comprised in certificate of title, Volume 589, folio 216,
North Auckland Land Registry, limited as to parcels, and
situated at 13 Weld Street, Auckland.

RESOLUTION TO MAKE SPECIAL RATE
Property Acquisition Loan No. 5, 1967—$70,000
THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it
in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Lower Hutt City Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other
charges on a loan of seventy thousand dollars ($70,000),
authorised to be raised by the Lower Hutt City Council under
the above-named Act, for the purpose of purchasing property,
the said Lower Hutt City Council hereby makes and levies a
special rate of sixty-nine thousandths of a cent in the dollar
(.069c) on the rateable value (on the basis of the annual
value) on all the rateable property in the City of Lower Hutt,
and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate
during the currency of such loan and be incorporated and
added to the consolidated special rate made pursuant to the
provisions of section 108A of the Municipal Corporations Act
1954, and be payable yearly on or about the 1st day of
August in each and every year during the currency of such
loan, being a period of 25 years, or until such time as the
loan is paid off."
I hereby certify that the above resolution was duly passed
at the meeting of the Lower Hutt City Council held on

RESOLUTION TO MAKE SPECIAL RATE
Redemption Loan No. 24, 1967—$16,000
THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it
in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Lower Hutt City Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other
charges on a loan of sixteen thousand dollars ($16,000),
authorised to be raised by the Lower Hutt City Council under
the above-named Act, for the purpose of repaying on maturity
that portion of the Transport Centre Loan 1957, $300,000,
which matures on 1 March 1968, the said Lower Hutt City
Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of eighteen
thousandths of a cent in the dollar (.018c) on the rateable
value (on the basis of the annual value) on all the rateable
property in the City of Lower Hutt, and that such special
rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency
of such loan and be incorporated and added to the consolidated special rate made, pursuant to the provisions of
section 108A of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954, and
be payable yearly on or about the 1st day of August in each
and every year during the currency of such loan, being a
period of 20 years, or until such time as the loan is paid off."

Lower Hutt City Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other
charges on a loan of ten thousand dollars ($10,000), authorised
to be raised by the Lower Hutt City Council under the abovenamed Act, for the purpose of repaying on maturity the
Sewerage and Drainage (Harbour Reclamation) Loan 1957,
$14,000, which matures on 15 March 1968, the said Lower
Hutt City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of
eleven thousandths of a cent in the dollar (.011c) on the
the rateable value (on the basis of the annual value) on all
the rateable property in the City of Lower Hutt, and that
such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during
the currency of such loan and be incorporated and added
to the consolidated special rate made, pursuant to the provisions of section 108A of the Municipal Corporations Act
1954, and be payable yearly on or about the 1st day of
August in each and every year during the currency of such
loan, being a period of 20 years, or until such time as the
loan is paid off."

charges on a loan of sixty thousand dollars ($60,000),
authorised to be raised by the Lower Hutt City Council under
the above-named Act, for the purpose of repaying on maturity
the Maungaraki Development Loan No. 5, 1964, $90,000,
which matures on 15 March 1968, the said Lower Hutt City
Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of four
hundred and twenty thousandths of a cent in the dollar (.420c)
on the rateable value (on the basis of the annual value) on
all the rateable property in the City of Lower Hutt, and that
such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during
the currency of such loan and be incorporated and added to
the consolidated special rate made, pursuant to the provisions
of section 108A of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954, and
be payable yearly on or about the 1st day of August in
each and every year during the currency of such loan, being
a period of two years, or until such time as the loan is paid
off."
