PAPAKURA BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Papakura Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
a loan of $50,000, authorised to be raised by the Papakura
Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the
purpose of making extensions to the water supply filtration
plant, the said Papakura Borough Council hereby makes a
special rate of 0.0366 cents in the dollar on the rateable value
of all rateable property of the Papakura Borough, and that
the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the
currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of
August in each and every year during the currency of the
loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully
paid off.”

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Rural Housing Loan No. 2, 1967, $100,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Otorohanga County Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
a loan of $100,000, authorised to be raised by the Otorohanga
County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the
purpose of making advances to farmers in terms of the
Rural Housing Act 1939, the said Otorohanga County Council
hereby makes a special rate of 0.061322 cents in the dollar
upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved
value) of all rateable property in the County of Otorohanga,
and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate
during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on
the 1st day of August in each and every year during the
currency of the loan, being a period of 35 years, or until
the loan is fully paid off.”

Gas-Electricity Conversion Loan 1967—$20,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Rangiora Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of paying the annual charges on
a loan of $20,000, being the Gas-Electricity Conversion Loan
1967, of $20,000, authorised to be raised by the Rangiora
Borough Council under the Local Authorities Loans Act
1956 for the purpose of financing the changeover of gas
consumers to electricity consequent upon the closing of the
Rangiora Gasworks, the Rangiora Borough Council hereby
makes a special rate of decimal one seven eight two cents
in the dollar (.1782c in the $) upon the rateable value of all
rateable property in the whole of the Borough of Rangiora,
and that such special rate be an annually recurring rate during
the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day
of April in each and every year during the currency of the
loan, being a period of six years, or until the loan is paid off.”

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Oxford County Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
a loan of £39,000 ($78,000), authorised to be raised by the
Oxford County Council under the above-mentioned Act for
the installation of a high-pressure water supply within the
boundaries of the Oxford Township Water Supply Area, the
said Oxford County Council hereby make a special rate of
1.166817d. in the pound (0.486173c in the dollar) upon the
rateable value of all rateable property within the Oxford
Township Water Supply Area, an area constituted pursuant
to section 266 of the Counties Act 1956, and that the special
rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency
of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August
in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being
a period of 30 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

Stormwater Drainage Loan No. 3, 1967, of $50,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Upper Hutt City Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing for the annual charges on
a loan of $50,000, authorised to be raised by the Upper Hutt
City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose
of completing stormwater drainage of areas not already
reticulated, the said Upper Hutt City Council hereby makes
a special rate of decimal 020 cents in the dollar on the
rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all
rateable property in the City of Upper Hutt, and that such
special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the
currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 1st
day of April in each and every year during the currency
of such loan, being a period of 30 years, or until the loan is
fully repaid.”

The above resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the
Upper Hutt City Council held on the 24th day of October
1967.

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Porirua City Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purposes of providing the annual charges on
a loan of $20,000, authorised to be raised by the Porirua City
Council under the above-mentioned Act for Staff Housing
Loan 1967, the said Porirua City Council hereby makes
a special rate of 0.0128 cents in the dollar upon the unimproved
value of all rateable property in the whole of the City of
Porirua, and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring
rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly
on the 14th day of August in each and every year during the
currency of the loan, being a period of 30 years, or until the
loan is fully paid off.”
