SCHEDULE
CONDITIONS
(1) This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations 1960, and the provisions of those regulations shall, so far as applicable, apply hereto.
(2) The term of the licence shall be 14 years from 1st day of November 1967.
(3) The premium payable by the licensee shall be ten dollars ($10) and the annual sum so payable by the licensee shall be twenty dollars ($20).

Exemption Order Under the Motor Drivers Regulations 1964
PURSUANT to the Motor Drivers Regulations 1964*, the Minister of Transport hereby orders and declares that the provisions of clause (1) of regulation 16 of the said regulations so far as they relate to the driving of heavy trade motors shall not apply to the person hereinafter mentioned, but in lieu thereof the following provisions shall apply:
A motor driver’s licence issued under the Motor Drivers Regulations 1964* to the person described in column 1 of the Schedule hereunder may authorise him to drive a heavy trade motor in the course of his employment for the employer described in column 2 of the said Schedule, but shall not authorise him, while he is under the age of 18 years, to drive a heavy trade motor for any other purpose.

The Traffic (Levin Borough) Notice 1967
PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.
NOTICE
- This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Levin Borough) Notice 1967.
- The road specified in the Schedule hereto is hereby excluded from the limitation as to speed imposed by section 52 of the Transport Act 1962, and is hereby declared to be a 40-mile speed limit area for the purposes of regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956.
- So much of the Warrant under section 52 of the Transport Act 1962 and regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956*, dated the 25th day of October 1966†, as relates to State Highway No. 1 (Awanui-Bluff) in Levin Borough is hereby revoked.
SCHEDULE
SITUATED within Levin Borough:
No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff) (from the southern boundary of Levin Borough to a point 28 chains measured north-easterly generally along the said highway from the said boundary; and from the northern boundary of Levin Borough to a point 29 chains measured south-westerly generally along the said highway from the said boundary).

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.
NOTICE
- This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Southland County) Notice No. 2, 1967.
- The road specified in the Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a limited speed zone for the purposes of the Traffic Regulations 1956*.

No. 96 State Highway (Mataura-Tuatapere) (from a point 17 chains measured westerly generally along the said highway from Browns-Settlers Road to a point 2 chains measured easterly generally along the said highway from Limehills-Browns Road).

The Traffic (Waimairi County) Notice No. 2, 1967
PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.
NOTICE
- This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Waimairi County) Notice No. 2, 1967.
- The road specified in the Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a closely populated locality for the purposes of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.
- So much of the Warrant under section 52 of the Transport Act 1962 and regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956*, dated the 22nd day of June 1966†, as relates to Heyders Road at Spencerville in Waimairi County is hereby revoked.

Approval for Use of Portable Traffic Signals
PURSUANT to regulation 129c of the Traffic Regulations 1956*, the Minister of Transport hereby authorises the use of Exactor PTS/671 portable traffic signals to indicate the presence of road works or slips on any road which normally permits of the passage of traffic in two directions where the width of the roadway is so reduced that it is no longer adequate for the passage of traffic in both directions, subject to the following conditions:
(a) That the prior approval of the traffic enforcement authority be obtained to the positions at which the portable lights are to be operated.
(b) That the lights are placed to control traffic before it enters the one lane section of road and at points where they are clearly visible to approaching traffic for a distance of at least 400 ft.
(c) That the lights are removed from the roadway at all times while they are not in use and if visible from the roadway the aspects are covered.
