5. For the purposes of the enforcement of an award or industrial agreement, any provision of which has been suspended by this order, any officer of the industrial union or association concerned who is authorised in writing in that behalf by the union or association shall be entitled to interview at his place of employment any person employed in or about the exhibition under that award or industrial agreement at such time or times as may be agreed upon between the officer and the employer of that person, and for this purpose any such officer shall be entitled at any time to have access to the register of passes issued by the promoter.

6. Nothing in this notice shall be deemed to affect any provisions in an award or industrial agreement requiring workers subject to the award or industrial agreement to be members of a union.

IT is hereby notified that a petition has been presented to His Excellency the Governor-General, pursuant to section 12 of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954, praying that the area described in the Schedule hereto be excluded from the County of Geraldine and included in the Borough of Geraldine. All persons affected who object to the proposed alteration of boundaries are hereby called upon to lodge any objections to, or petitions against, the proposed alteration with the Minister of Internal Affairs, Wellington, within one month from the date of publication of this notice.

Licensing National Mortgage and Agency Co. of New Zealand Ltd. to Occupy a Site for a Jetty and Dolphin at Kaingaroa, Chatham Islands

PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine hereby licenses and permits National Mortgage and Agency Co. of New Zealand Ltd. (hereinafter called the licensee, which term shall include its successors or assigns unless the context requires a different construction), to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and bed of the sea at Kaingaroa, Chatham Islands, as shown on plan marked M.D. 12712 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, for the purpose of maintaining thereon a jetty and dolphin as shown on the said plan, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensee upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.
