AUCKLAND REGIONAL AUTHORITY

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Airport Loan No. 1—1964 £2,500,000—Second Issue £200,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and the Auckland Regional Authority Act 1963, the Auckland Regional Authority has resolved to the following effect:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £200,000, authorised to be raised by the Auckland Regional Authority under the above-mentioned Acts, for the purpose of meeting part of the Authority’s portion of the cost of the Auckland International Airport in terms of section 40 of the Auckland Regional Authority Act 1963, plus the costs of raising such loan, the Auckland Regional Authority hereby makes a special rate of the several amounts in the pound set out in the fourth column of the Schedule hereto on the rateable values set against such amounts respectively in the third column of such Schedule, of all rateable property of the local authorities listed in the first column of such Schedule and set out against such amounts and rateable values respectively, and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, which shall at the lender’s option be for periods of six, 10, or 20 years from 25 May 1965, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and the Auckland Regional Authority Act 1963, the Auckland Regional Authority has resolved to the following effect:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £50,000, authorised to be raised by the Auckland Regional Authority under the above-mentioned Acts, for the purpose of meeting part of the Authority’s portion of the cost of the Auckland International Airport in terms of section 40 of the Auckland Regional Authority Act 1963, plus the costs of raising such loan, the Auckland Regional Authority hereby makes a special rate of the several amounts in the pound set out in the fourth column of the Schedule hereto on the rateable values set against such amounts respectively in the third column of such Schedule, of all rateable property of the local authorities listed in the first column of such Schedule and set out against such amounts and rateable values respectively, and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, which shall at the lender’s option be for periods of six, 10, or 20 years from 1 December 1966, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

Property Loan No. 1, 1965—£23,500

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and the Auckland Regional Authority Act 1963, the Auckland Regional Authority has resolved to the following effect:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £23,500, authorised to be raised by the Auckland Regional Authority under the above-mentioned Acts, for the purpose of meeting costs and expenses of and incidental to the acquisition of the property situated at 72 Wellesley Street West, Auckland, required for the future staffing accommodation of the Authority plus the costs of raising such loan, the Auckland Regional Authority hereby makes a special rate of the several amounts in the pound set out in the fourth column of the Schedule hereto on the rateable values set against such amounts respectively in the third column of such Schedule, of all rateable property of the local authorities listed in the first column of such Schedule and set out against such amounts and rateable values respectively, and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, which shall be to the lenders for a period of 10 years from 23 August 1965, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
