RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Property Loan No. 2, 1965—£307,000—First Issue £57,000
Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and the Auckland Regional Authority Act 1963, the Auckland Regional Authority has resolved to the following effect:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £57,000, authorised to be raised by the Auckland Regional Authority under the above-mentioned Acts, for the purpose of providing sufficient loan finance to cover initial construction costs, architects fees, and other incidental expenses in connection with the Authority's new building in Wellesley Street West, Auckland, the Auckland Regional Authority hereby makes a special rate of the several amounts in the pound set out in the fourth column of the Schedule hereto on the rateable values set against such amount respectively in the third column of such Schedule, of all rateable property of the local authorities listed in the first column of such Schedule and set out against such amounts and rateable values respectively, and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, which shall at the lender's option be for periods of six, 10, or 20 years from 1 December 1965, or until the loan is fully paid off."

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Passenger Transport (Redemption) Loan No. 4, 1965—£329,500
Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and the Auckland Regional Authority Act 1963, the Auckland Regional Authority has resolved to the following effect:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £329,500, authorised to be raised by the Auckland Regional Authority under the above-mentioned Acts, for redeeming the unpaid balances of various loans raised by the former Auckland Transport Board in connection with its passenger transport undertaking which liabilities were taken over by the Auckland Regional Authority in terms of section 45 of the Auckland Regional Authority Act 1963 plus the costs of raising such loan, the Auckland Regional Authority hereby makes a special rate of the several amounts in the pound set out in the fourth column of the Schedule hereto on the rateable values set against such amounts respectively in the third column of such Schedule, of all rateable property of the local authorities listed in the first column of such Schedule and set out against such amounts and rateable values respectively, and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, which shall at the lender's option be for six-monthly periods commencing on 16 January 1966 and ending on 16 January 1975, or until the loan is fully paid off."

Bulk Water Supply Loan No. 1, 1965—£580,000—Second Issue £200,000
Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and the Auckland Regional Authority Act 1963, the Auckland Regional Authority has resolved to the following effect:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £200,000, authorised to be raised by the Auckland Regional Authority under the above-mentioned Acts, for the purpose of completing the Upper Maungatawhiri Dam and the Mangatangi Aqueduct, carrying out further extensions to the Ardmore filter station, investigations and preliminary works for future headworks in the Hunua and Waitakere Reserves, and progress upgrading of trunk mains for both Reserves, plus the costs of raising such loan, the Auckland Regional Authority hereby makes a special rate of the several amounts in the pound hereby set out in the fourth column of the Schedule hereto on the rateable values set against such amounts respectively in the third column of such Schedule, of all rateable property of the local authorities listed in the first column of such Schedule and set out against such amounts and rateable values respectively, and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, which shall at the lender's option be for periods of six and 10 years from 17 January 1966, or until the loan is fully paid off."

Bulk Water Supply Redemption Loan 2, 1965—£55,000
Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and the Auckland Regional Authority Act 1963, the Auckland Regional Authority has resolved to the following effect:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £55,000, authorised to be raised by the Auckland Regional Authority under the above-mentioned Acts, for redeeming the unpaid balance of a loan raised by the Auckland City Council in connection with its bulk water supply undertaking which liability was taken over by the Auckland Regional Authority in terms of section 42 of the Auckland Regional Authority Act 1963 plus the costs of raising such loan, the Auckland Regional Authority hereby makes a special rate of the several amounts in the pound set out in the fourth column of the Schedule hereto on the rateable values set against such amounts respectively in the third column of such Schedule, of all rateable property of the local authorities listed in the first column of such Schedule and set out against such amounts and rateable values respectively, and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, which shall at the lender's option be for periods of six and 10 years from 16 April 1965, or until the loan is fully paid off."
