AUCKLAND REGIONAL AUTHORITY

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Reserves Loan No. 2, 1965—£50,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and the Auckland Regional Authority Act 1963, the Auckland Regional Authority has resolved to the following effect:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £50,000, authorised to be raised by the Auckland Regional Authority under the above-mentioned Acts, for the purpose of carrying out development works on various properties acquired out of Reserves Loan No. 1, 1964, £1,000,000 plus the costs of raising such loan, the Auckland Regional Authority hereby makes a special rate of the several amounts in the pound set out in the fourth column of the Schedule hereto on the rateable values set against such amounts respectively in the third column of such Schedule, of all rateable property of the local authorities listed in the first column of such Schedule and set out against such amounts and rateable values respectively, and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, which shall be for a period of 10 years from 2 November 1965, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Bulk Water Supply Loan No. 1, 1965, £580,000—First Issue £180,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and the Auckland Regional Authority Act 1963, the Auckland Regional Authority has resolved to the following effect:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £180,000, authorised to be raised by the Auckland Regional Authority under the above-mentioned Acts, for the purpose of completing the Upper Maungatawhiri Dam and the Mangatangi Aqueduct, carrying out further extensions to the Ardmore filter station, investigations and preliminary works for future headworks in the Hunua and Waitakere Reserves, and progress upgrading of trunk mains for both Reserves, plus the costs of raising such loan, the Auckland Regional Authority hereby makes a special rate of the several amounts in the pound set out in the ninth column of the Schedule hereto on the rateable values set against such amounts respectively in the eighth column of such Schedule, of all rateable property of the local authorities listed in the first column of such Schedule and set out against such amounts and rateable values respectively, and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, which shall at the lender’s option be for periods of six, 10, or 20 years from 25 May 1965, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
