TARANAKI COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Taranaki County Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $90,000, authorised to be raised by the Taranaki County Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of constructing a sewerage system for the Bell Block Urban Drainage Area, the said Taranaki County Council hereby makes a special rate of three decimal two five seven cents (3.257c) in the dollar on the unimproved rateable value of all rateable property of the Bell Block Urban Drainage Area, and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 4th day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 30 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

TARANAKI COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Rural Housing Loan 1967, $40,000
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Taranaki County Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $40,000, to be raised by the Taranaki County Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the making of advances to farmers in terms of the Rural Housing Act 1939, the said Taranaki County Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought three five six cents (.0356c) in the dollar upon the unimproved rateable value of all rateable property comprising the whole of the County of Taranaki, and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 4th day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

RICCARTON BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Pensioners’ Cottages (Walsall Street) Loan of $20,000
IN pursuance of the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and its amendments, the Riccarton Borough Council hereby resolves by special order as follows:
“That the Council hereby appropriate and pledge as security for the repayment of the Pensioners’ Cottages (Walsall Street) Loan of $20,000 and charges thereto a special annual rate of 0.015 cents in the dollar upon the unimproved rateable value of all rateable property in the Borough during the currency of the loan, being a period of 35 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

HAVELOCK NORTH BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Street Reconstruction Loan 1966, $50,000
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Havelock North Borough Council did at a meeting held on the 9th day of October 1967, resolve as follows:
“That, for the purposes of providing the annual charges on a loan of $50,000, authorised to be raised by the Havelock North Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of reconstruction of streets, including kerbing and channelling, the said Havelock North Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal one nought eight (.108) cents in the dollar upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the Borough of Havelock North, on the basis of the unimproved value, and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable half yearly on the 1st day of April and the 1st day of October in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 30 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

POVERTY BAY CATCHMENT BOARD
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Waipaoa River Flood Control Scheme Redemption Loan 1967, $36,400
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Poverty Bay Catchment Board hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $36,400, authorised to be raised by the Poverty Bay Catchment Board under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of repaying on maturity that portion of the Waipaoa River Flood Control Scheme Loan 1952, $398.900 which matures on 1 March 1968, the said Poverty Bay Catchment Board hereby makes a special rate upon the rateable capital value of all rateable property in the various classes within the Waipaoa River Flood Control scheme rating area, as defined by the classification list prepared and adopted by the Board on 4 May 1951, for the purpose of rating for such scheme and as deposited in the office of the Board; that the said special rate in the various classes according to such classification list shall be as set out in the following Schedule, and such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of September in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 20 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

EASTBOURNE BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Mahina Bay Sewerage Loan 1967, $30,000
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Eastbourne Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of thirty thousand dollars ($30,000), authorised to be raised by the Eastbourne Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of providing a sewerage system for Mahina Bay and Mahina Bay North, the said Eastbourne Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of point nought four three dollars ($.043) upon the rateable unimproved value of all rateable property of the Mahina Bay special rating area, and the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
Passed at a meeting of the Council held on the 23rd day of August 1967.
