A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the Wellington City and Suburban Water Supply Act 1927, and shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Wellington as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 16th day of October 1967.

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land containing 349 acres 2 roods 35.69 perches situated in Block XV, Akatarawa Survey District, Hutt County, Wellington R.D., being parts Sections 419 and 438, Hutt District, and part Sections 9 and 10 of the said Block XV, and part State Forest Reserve, part being also part Lots 41 and 42, Deeds Plan 618. PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the First Schedule hereto and the leasehold estate in land described in the Second Schedule hereto, held from Her Majesty the Queen by Waitangi Station Ltd., under and by virtue of pastoral lease recorded in Volume 529, folio 85, Canterbury Land Registry, is hereby taken for development of water power (Aviemore Power Project).
