Land Taken for Electric Works in Block I, Teviotdale Survey District, Waipawa County, and Revoking Previous Proclamation

BERNARD FERGUSSON, Governor-General

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 32 of the Public Works Act 1928 and section 35 of the Finance Act (No.2) 1945, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby revoke the Proclamation dated the 30th day of May 1967, and published in Gazette, 22 June 1967, No. 39, page 1063, proclaiming and declaring land to be taken for electric works and vested in the North Canterbury Electric Power Board, and hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for electric works and shall vest in the North Canterbury Electric Power Board as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 16th day of October 1967.

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land containing 1 rood 21 perches situated in Block I, Teviotdale Survey District, Canterbury R.D., being part Section 17, Glenmark Settlement. All of the land in Proclamation No. 1701, Canterbury Land Registry.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 6th day of September 1967.

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 422 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto, and used as a roadway, to be street.

SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land containing 1 acre and 13.2 perches, situated in Block XI, Tauranga Survey District, being part Maungatapu B, formerly part 1K 2B Block; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 21549 (M.L. 19719) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured pink, edged pink.

Allocating Railway Land to the Purposes of a Road in Block III, Idaburn Survey District

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 226 of the Public Works Act 1928, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto (which was taken for railway purposes and is not now required for that purpose) shall, upon the publication hereof in the Gazette, become road, and that such road shall be maintained by the National Roads Board in like manner as other public highways are controlled and maintained by the said Board.

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 4 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1947, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the Proclamation dated the 25th day of February 1960, published in Gazette, 1960, Volume I, page 316, and registered as Proclamation No. 17422, North Auckland Land Registry (hereinafter termed β€œthe former Proclamation”), defining the middle line of a portion of the Auckland-Hamilton Motorway in Block XVI, Waitemata Survey District, is hereby so amended that the former Proclamation shall affect not only the land situated within the limits shown coloured red on the plan marked P.W.D. 160855, referred to in the former Proclamation, but also the land situated within the limits shown coloured red on the plan marked M.O.W. 21410 referred to in the Schedule hereto.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby revokes the Proclamation dated the 14th day of December 1948, and published in Gazette, 16 December 1948, Volume III, at page 1529, and registered as No. 3982, Wellington Land Registry, defining the middle line of portion of the Wellington-Napier via Woodville Railway (Portion of Rimutaka Tunnel Deviation) in so far as it affects the land described in the Schedule hereto.

ALL that piece of land containing 2 acres 2 roods 25.2 perches situated in Block XIV, Akatarawa Survey District, Wellington R.D., and being Section 815, Hutt District.
