Fire Station Loan 1967, $220,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Blenheim Borough Council hereby resolves as follows.

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges
on a loan of two hundred and twenty thousand dollars
($220,000), authorised to be raised by the Blenheim Borough
Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of
constructing a new fire station and residential accommoda-
tion, and purchasing land incidental thereto, the said
Blenheim Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of
two hundred and twenty one-thousandths of a cent (.220c)
in the dollar on the rateable unimproved value of all rate-
able property within the Borough of Blenheim, and that the
said special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during
the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st
day of April in each and every year during the currency
of the loan, being a period of thirty-five (35) years, or
until the loan is fully paid off.”

“THAT, pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956,
and for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a
loan of $100,000, authorised to be raised by the Invercargill
City Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the pur-
pose of providing part cost of a storm-water reticulation
system in the Waikiwi area and completing the purposes for
which the Waikiwi Loan No. 1, 1962, £150,000, and Waikiwi
Loan No. 2, 1963, £200,000 were sanctioned, the said Inver-
cargill City Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal
nought two four cents (.024c) in the dollar on the rateable
value on the basis of the unimproved value of all rateable
property in the City of Invercargill, and that the said
special rate shall be payable yearly on the 30th day of
September in each and every year during the currency of
the loan, being a period of 30 years, or until the loan is

making advances to employees for the provision of housing,
the said Taieri County Council hereby makes a special rate
of 0.0096 cents in the dollar ($) upon the rateable value of
all rateable property in the County of Taieri comprising the
whole of the County of Taieri, and that the special rate shall
be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan
and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and

a loan of $26,000, authorised to be raised by the Taieri County
Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of
providing a water supply for the Wingatui No. 2 Water Supply
Area, the said Taieri County Council hereby makes a special
rate of 0.9508 cents in the dollar ($) upon the rateable value
of all rateable property of the Wingatui No. 2 Water Supply
Area, comprising the whole of the Wingatui No. 2 Water
Supply Area, and that the special rate shall be an annual-
recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable
yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year
during the currency of the loan, being a period of 30 years,
or until the loan is fully paid off.”

Library Renewal Loan 1967, $4,750

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans
Act 1956, the Whakatane Borough Council hereby resolves
as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing for the annual charges
on a loan of four thousand seven hundred and fifty dollars
($4,750), authorised to be raised by the Whakatane Borough
Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of
repaying on maturity those portions of the Library Loan 1957,
$25,000 which mature on 27 August and 18 October 1967,
the said Whakatane Borough Council hereby makes a special
rate of decimal point nought one four cents in the dollar
on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value)
of all rateable property within the Borough of Whakatane,
and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring
rate during the currency of such loan and be repayable on
the 1st day of April in each and every year during the
currency of such loan, being a period of 15 years, or until
such loan is fully paid off.”
