The Traffic (Papakura Borough) Notice 1967

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.

———

NOTICE

  1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Papakura Borough) Notice 1967.

  2. The area specified in the First Schedule hereto is hereby excluded from the limitation as to speed imposed by section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

  3. The road specified in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a limited speed zone for the purposes of the Traffic Regulations 1956*.

  4. The Warrant under section 52 of the Transport Act 1962, dated the 24th day of April 1967† which relates to areas within Papakura Borough is hereby revoked.

FIRST SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Papakura Borough:

All that area bounded by a line commencing at a point where the southern boundary of Papakura Borough meets the western side of the the Great South Road; thence northerly generally along that roadside to a point 20 chains measured northerly generally from the said boundary; thence easterly generally by a right line to a point on the western side of Opaheke Road, opposite the northern side of Boundary Road; thence across Opaheke Road to the said northern side of Boundary Road; and along that roadside to the south-western side of Hunua Road; thence north-westerly generally along the south-western side of Hunua Road to a point 21 chains measured south-easterly generally along the said roadside from Settlement Road; thence north-easterly generally by a right line to a point 8 chains measured easterly generally along the northern side of Settlement Road from Kelvin Road; thence north-easterly generally along the projection of the aforesaid right line to the point where it meets the eastern boundary of Papakura Borough; thence north-easterly, southerly, and westerly generally along the eastern and southern boundary of Papakura Borough to the commencing point.

Beach Road (from the western boundary of Papakura Borough to a point 16 chains measured easterly generally along the said road from the western boundary of Papakura Borough).

Park Estate Road (from the Great South Road to the western boundary of Papakura Borough).

SITUATED within Papakura Borough:

Red Hill Road (from Barberton Terrace to Gibbs Crescent).

The Traffic (Hutt County) Notice No. 3 1967

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

  1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Hutt County) Notice No. 3 1967.

  2. The area specified in the Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a closely populated locality for the purposes of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

  3. The Warrant under section 36 of the Transport Act 1949, dated the 29th day of November 1962*, which relates to Wainuiomata in Hutt County, is hereby revoked.

SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Hutt County at Wainuiomata:

All that area at Wainuiomata bounded by a line commencing at the junction of the north-western side of Puriri Street with the south-western side of Wainuiomata Road; thence north-easterly generally across Wainuiomata Road at right angles to its south-western side to its north-eastern side; thence north-easterly generally along a right line to a point on the western side of Fitzherbert Road 48 chains measured north-easterly generally along the said road from Norfolk Street; thence easterly generally across Fitzherbert Road at right angles to its western side to its eastern side; thence south-easterly generally along a right line to the eastern end of Ruthven Road; thence south-easterly generally along a right line to the northern end of Hair Street; thence southerly generally along a right line to a point in the middle of Moores Valley Road 16 chains measured easterly generally along the said road from Hair Street and the production of that right line to the northern side of Hine Road; thence easterly generally along that roadside to the eastern end of Hine Road; thence south-westerly generally along a right line to the southern end of Sunny Grove; thence south-westerly generally along a right line to a point on the eastern side of Coast Road 56 chains measured southerly generally along the said road from Hine Road; thence westerly generally across Coast Road at right angles to its eastern side to its western side; thence north-westerly generally along a right line to the south-western end of Kowhai Street; thence northerly generally along a right line to the south-western end of Puriri Street; thence along the north-western side of Puriri Street to the point of commencement.

Manaiia Road (from State Highway No. 25 (Pipiroa-Waihi via Coromandel) to a point 56 chains measured northerly generally along Manaiia Road from the said highway).

Cancellation of the Vesting in the Opotiki Borough Council and Revocation of the Reservation Over Part of a Reserve

———

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby cancels the vesting in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the Borough of Opotiki, and revokes the reservation over that part of the reserve for plantation purposes described in the Schedule hereto.

GISBORNE LAND DISTRICT—OPOTIKI BOROUGH

PART Allotment 289 of Section 2, Town of Opotiki, situated in the Borough of Opotiki: Area, 2 roods 0.1 perches, more or less. As shown on the plan marked L. and S. 5483F, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey at Wellington, and thereon edged red (S.O. plan 5761).
