Declaring Land Taken for Road in Block VII, Atiamuri

PURSUANT to section 32 of the Public Works Act 1928, the
Minister of Works hereby declares that, a sufficient agreement
to that effect having been entered into, the land described in
the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for road from and after
the 25th day of September 1967.

Notice of Intention to Take Land in Blocks VI and IX,
Waitohu Survey District, Horowhenua County, for Road
NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the pro-
visions of the Public Works Act 1928, to execute a certain
public work, namely, the construction of a road (Awanui-
Bluff State Highway No. 1, Pukehou Deviation), and for the
purposes of that public work the land described in the
Schedule hereto is required to be taken; and notice is hereby
further given that the plans of the land so required to be
taken, are deposited in the post office at Otaki Railway,
and are there open for inspection; that all persons affected by
the execution of the said public work or by the taking of
the said land should, if they have any objections to the
execution of the said public work or to the taking of the
said land, not being objections to the amount or payment of
compensation, set forth the same in writing and send the
written objection within 40 days of the first publication of
this notice, to the Minister of Works at Wellington; and that,
if any objection is made in accordance with the notice, a
public hearing of the objection will be held unless the
objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised
of the time and place of the hearing.

Revoking Foreshore Licence for Slipway Held by French
Farm Aquatic Club Inc. at French Farm Bay, Akaroa
PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine
hereby gives notice that the licence granted on 19 October
1955*, to French Farm Aquatic Club Inc., to use and occupy
part of the foreshore and bed of the sea at French Farm Bay,
Akaroa, as a site for a slipway, as shown on plan marked
M.D. 9903, is revoked.

Licensing French Farm Aquatic Club Inc. to Occupy a Site
for a Jetty, Slipway, and Boatshed at French Farm Bay,
Akaroa
PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine
hereby licenses and permits French Farm Aquatic Club Inc.
(hereinafter called the licensee, which term shall include its
successors or assigns unless the context requires a different
construction), to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and
bed of the sea at French Farm Bay, Akaroa, as shown on
plans marked M.D. 2264 and M.D. 9903 and deposited in
the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, for the
purpose of maintaining thereon a jetty, slipway, and boatshed
as shown on the said plans, such licence to be held and
enjoyed by the licensee upon and subject to the terms
and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
CONDITIONS
- This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regu-
lations 1960 and the provisions of those regulations shall, so
far as applicable, apply hereto. - The term of the licence shall be 14 years from the 1st
day of September 1967. - The premium payable by the licensee shall be six dollars
($6) and the annual sum so payable by the licensee shall
be six dollars ($6).

Recognition of Domestic Drivers’ Permits
PURSUANT to regulation 6 (1) (a) of the Transport (Con-
vention on Road Traffic) Regulations 1958*, the Minister of
Transport hereby approves of the recognition in New Zealand
of valid drivers’ licences issued by the competent authorities
in South Africa and South West Africa.

PURSUANT to regulation 2 of the Transport (Overseas Visitors)
Regulations 1963*, the Minister of Transport hereby approves
of the recognition in New Zealand of valid drivers’ licences
issued by the competent authorities in the Federal Republic
of Germany and in Switzerland.
