MALVERN COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Rural Housing Loan 1967, $18,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Malvern County Council resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £9,000 ($18,000) to be known as the Rural Housing Loan 1967, and authorised to be raised by the Malvern County Council under the above-mentioned Act, for making advances to farmers under the provisions of the Rural Housing Act 1939, the said Malvern County Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.0237 pence in the pound (0.0099 cents in the dollar) upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the whole of the County of Malvern, and that the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 30 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

RAGLAN COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Rural Housing Loan No. 10, 1967—£20,000 ($40,000)

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Raglan County Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £20,000 ($40,000), authorised to be raised by the Raglan County Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of making advances to farmers in terms of the Rural Housing Act 1939, the said Raglan County Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought seven eight five of a penny (.0785d.) in the pound (£) (.0328 cents in the dollar) upon the unimproved value of all rateable property comprising the whole of the County of Raglan, and that the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be paid yearly on the 1st day of September in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty (20) years, or until the loan is paid off.”

I hereby certify that the above resolution was passed at a meeting of the Raglan County Council held on the 28th day of August 1967.

WAIRARAPA SOUTH COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Wairarapa South County Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £8,000, authorised to be raised by the Wairarapa South County Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of making advances to farmers in terms of the Rural Housing Act 1939, the said Wairarapa South County Council hereby makes a special rate of one-sixteenth of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) on all rateable property in the County of Wairarapa South, and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, until such loan is fully paid off.”

SOUTHLAND HARBOUR BOARD

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Renewal Loan No. 2, 1967—$789,200

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Southland Harbour Board hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing annual charges on a loan of $789,200, authorised to be raised by the Southland Harbour Board under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of repaying on maturity those portions of Loan No. 14, 1952—$7,779,200 which mature on 28 November 1967 and 12 September 1968 by conversion and cash application, the said Southland Harbour Board hereby makes a special rate of 0.01658 of a cent in the dollar upon the rateable capital value of all rateable property in the Southland Harbour District as constituted by the Bluff Harbour Empowering Act 1949, being part of the rate authorised by section 8 of the Bluff Harbour Improvement Act 1952, and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable half yearly on the 30th day of June and the 30th day of December in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 27½ years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

The foregoing resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Southland Harbour Board held on the 29th day of August 1967.

MACKENZIE COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Pensioners Housing Loan 1967, £6,875 ($13,750)

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Mackenzie County Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on the Pensioners Housing Loan 1967, £6,875 ($13,750), authorised to be raised by the Mackenzie County Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of purchasing land and erecting accommodation for elderly people, the said Mackenzie County Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal 01252 pence in the pound (.00521 cents in the dollar) upon the capital value of all rateable property in the county of Mackenzie, and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 30 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

I hereby certify that the above resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Mackenzie County Council held on 1 September 1967.

KAITAIA BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Footpath Construction Loan No. 1, 1967—$12,000

I, Earle Lewis Worke Reid, Town Clerk of Kaitaia, do hereby certify that the following resolution was passed by the Council at a meeting held on 22 August 1967:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on the Footpath Construction Loan No. 1—$12,000, authorised to be raised by the Kaitaia Borough Council under the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, for the purpose of constructing footpaths, the Council hereby makes a special rate of sixty-hundredths of a cent (0.060 cents) in the dollar upon all the rateable property in the borough (upon the basis of unimproved values), and also hereby resolves that the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate, and be payable on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 20 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Housing of Aged Loan 1966, $35,000

THAT, pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Tauranga City Council hereby resolved as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $35,000, authorised to be raised by the Tauranga City Council under the above-mentioned Act, for purchasing land and erecting accommodation for old people, the said Tauranga City Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal point nought nought eight six nine cents (.00869c) in the dollar upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the City of Tauranga, and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable half yearly on the 15th day of March and September in each and every year during the currency of the said loan, being a period of 35 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
