HOKIANGA COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL ORDER
Rawene Town Water Supply Loan 1967, $26,000—Issue of $20,000
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Hokianga County Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $20,000, authorised to be raised by the Hokianga County Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of providing moneys to meet the Council’s share of the cost of providing water reticulation in the Rawene County Town, the said Hokianga County Council hereby makes a special rate of 4.35 cents in the dollar upon the rateable unimproved value of all rateable property in the Rawene Town District, and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
The above resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Hokianga County Council held on Wednesday, 23 August 1967.

Notice of Application for Consent to Change of Use; Notice of Application for Consent to Specified Departure; Notice of Application for Consent of Conditional Use
NOTICE is hereby given that application has been made by The Presbyterian Social Service Association of Southland, for the consent of the Gore Borough Council to the change of use and to specified departure and to conditional use of the under-mentioned property, and the erection thereon and operation of a social service centre comprising residential block, social hall, cottage units, service block, and hospital.
The property is on the south-west corner of Main and Crombie Streets, Gore, and is located in the “Residential A” zone.
The legal description of the land is 4 acres and 22.2 poles, more or less, being Lots 1, 2, and 3, on Deposited Plan No. 164, Lots 1 to 18 (inclusive) on Deposited Plan No. 144, and part of Section 32, Block XVI, Town of Gore, and being all the land comprised in certificates of title, Volume 30, folios 234 and 235, Volume 35, folio 286, and Volume, B 2, folio 506, Southland Registry.
Special conditions, restrictions, or provisions proposed for the application are:

That the applicant provides three vehicular entrances to the property from Main Street;

That the applicant provides space for adequate off-street parking.
The application may be examined at the office of the Gore Borough Council, Main Street, Gore, during normal office hours and any person or body affected may object to the application by notice in writing, delivered to the Town Clerk, Gore Borough Council, P.O. Box 8, Gore, not later than 4 p.m., on Tuesday, the 3rd day of October 1967.
Every objector shall state the grounds of the objection and whether the objector wishes to be heard by the Council in support of his objection.
