The plan of the said land is deposited at the south division office of the Otago Catchment Board, Hasborough Place, Balclutha, and is there open for inspection by all persons during ordinary office hours.

All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said land, are hereby required and called upon to set forth in writing any objections to the execution of the said public work or the taking of the said land, not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation, and to send such written objection within forty days from the first publication of this notice to the Secretary, Otago Catchment Board, 725 George Street, Dunedin.

SCHEDULE

PART Lot 11, D.P. 2062, being part Section 6, Block XXXV, Clutha Survey District, comprised in certificate of title, Volume 2D, folio 615, David Thomas Miller, containing thirty-three decimal three perches, as shown coloured blue on Survey Office Plan No. 15958, and situated in Jetty Street, Balclutha.

MASTERTON BOROUGH COUNCIL


NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND


In the matter of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954, and of the Public Works Act 1928, notice is hereby given that the Masterton Borough Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, to execute a certain public work, namely, the provision of a service lane between the north-western side of Dixon Street, Masterton, and the south-western side of Church Street, Masterton, and for the purposes of such public work the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken; and notice is hereby further given that a plan of the lands so required to be taken, is deposited in the public office of the Town Clerk to the said Council, situate in Chapel Street, and is open for inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours.

All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of such lands, who have any objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said lands, must state their objections in writing and send the same within 40 days from the first publication of this notice to the Town Clerk at the Council Chambers, Chapel Street.

HUTT RIVER BOARD


NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND


IN the matter of the Public Works Act 1928 and in the matter of the River Boards Act 1908, notice is hereby given that the Hutt River Board duly constituted under the provisions of the River Board Act 1908, being a local authority within the meaning of the Public Works Act 1928, proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, to execute a public work, namely, river protection work, and for the purposes of such public work the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken for river protection purposes; and notice is hereby given that a plan of the land so required to be taken, is deposited in the offices of the Board at Winslow Chambers, Margaret Street, Lower Hutt, and is there open for inspection by all persons, without fee, during ordinary office hours. All persons who are affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said lands, who have any objection to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said land, should state their objections in writing and send the same within 40 days from the first publication of this notice to the Secretary of the Board, Lower Hutt, at the above address.

(a) All that piece of land containing 39.6 perches, more or less, being part Section 65, Hutt District, and part Lot 1 on Deposited Plan No. 20764, and part of the land in certificate of title, Volume 846, folio 15, more particularly shown coloured blue on Survey Office Plan No. 26874, and situate at Stokes Valley Road, Lower Hutt.

(b) All that piece of land containing 0.83 perches, more or less, being part Section 65, Hutt District, and being also part of Lot 1 on Deposited Plan No. 20474, being part of the land contained in certificate of title, Volume 895, folio 36, more particularly shown coloured orange on Survey Office Plan No. 26874, and situate at No. 23 Stokes Valley Road, Lower Hutt.

(c) All that piece of land containing 00.1 perches, being part Section 65, Hutt District, and being also part of Lot 2 on Deposited Plan No. 20470, and being part of the land contained in certificate of title, Volume 863, folio 58, more particularly shown coloured sepia on Survey Office Plan No. 26874, and situate at No. 25 Stokes Valley Road, Lower Hutt. All being situate in Block IV, Belmont Survey District.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE


Civic Administration Building Loan, No. 2, 1967—$34,500

“RESOLVED that, for the purposes of providing the annual charges on a loan of $34,500, authorised to be raised by the Gore Borough Council under the Local Authorities Loans Act, the said Gore Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought three six six cents (.0366c) in the dollar upon the rateable unimproved value of all rateable property of the Borough of Gore, and the said special rate shall be the annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable on the 1st day of April and the 1st day of October in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 35 years.”

Fire Engine Loan 1967, $12,000

“RESOLVED that, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $12,000, authorised to be raised by the Gore Borough Council under the Local Authorities Loans Act, the said Gore Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought two two seven eight cents (.02278c) in the dollar upon the rateable unimproved value of all rateable property in the Borough of Gore, and the said special rate shall be the annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable on the 1st day of April and the 1st day of October in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 12 years.”

TARADALE BOROUGH COUNCIL


RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE


Development Supplementary Loan 1967—$60,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and the Local Authorities Loans Amendment Act 1961, the Taradale Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $60,000, authorised to be raised by the Taradale Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of completing the works for which the Development Loan 1962, £300,000 was authorised to be raised, the said Taradale Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal one two nine cents in the dollar (.129c in the $) upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the whole of the Borough of Taradale, and that the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan until it is fully repaid.”

The foregoing resolution was passed at a meeting of the Taradale Borough Council on 22 August 1967.
