- The alteration of the boundaries of the said county and the said city hereinbefore made, shall be deemed to have been effected under the Municipal Corporations Act 1954.
FIRST SCHEDULE
ALL that area in the Kairanga County containing 690 acres, more or less, bounded by a line commencing at the intersection of the middle line of Maxwells Line with the right bank of the Manawatu River, and proceeding generally south-westerly along that bank to a point in line with the north-eastern side of Waldegrave Road; thence north-westerly to and along that side to, and north-easterly along, the north-western boundary of the land shown on D.P. 9121 and its production to the north-western boundary of Lot 4, D.P. 26198; thence north-easterly along that boundary and the north-western side of Totara Road to, and north-westerly along, the south-western side of the road adjoining the north-eastern boundary of the land shown on D.P. 3063, and the continuation of that side to the south-eastern side of Racecourse Road; thence south-westerly along that side and the abutment of that road to its north-western side; thence north-westerly by a right line to a point on the left bank of the Mangaone Stream in line with the north-eastern boundary of Section 24, Block X, Kairanga S.D.; thence generally northerly along that bank to the south-eastern boundary of Lot 1, plan A/2558; thence north-easterly along that boundary to, and north-westerly along, the north-eastern boundary of Lot 1, plan A/2558 to the south-eastern boundary of Lot 7, L.T. 27537; thence south-westerly along that boundary to, and generally northerly along, the left bank of the Mangaone Stream to the north-eastern boundary of Lot 8, L.T. 27537; thence north-westerly along the north-eastern boundaries of Lots 8, 6, and 3, L.T. 27537, to the southern side of Tremaine Avenue; thence northerly by a right line to the southern corner of Section 23, Cloverlea Settlement, and north-westerly along the south-western boundary of the said Section 23 to the south-eastern side of the Wellington-New Plymouth Railway; thence north-easterly along that boundary to the boundary of the City of Palmerston North as described in Gazette, 1962, page 483; thence generally south-easterly along that boundary to the point of commencement.
SECOND SCHEDULE
ALL that area in Kairanga County containing 259 acres, more or less, bounded by a line commencing at the intersection of the left bank of the Mangaone Stream with the north-western boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 10583, approximately 18 chains from the northern-most corner of the said Lot 1, and proceeding generally northerly along that bank to, and south-easterly along, the south-western boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 25402, to the north-western boundary of Lot 2, D.P. 25402; thence generally north-easterly along that boundary to south-eastern side of Flygers Line; thence north-westerly along a right line to the southernmost corner of Section 9, Block VI, Kairanga S.D.; thence north-easterly along the north-western side of Flygers Line to the western boundary of Lot 2, D.P. 18980; thence northerly along that boundary to, and generally westerly along, the generally southern boundary of Lot 4, D.P. 22860, to the western boundary of that lot; thence northerly along that boundary and the eastern boundary of Lot 5 and the western boundary of Lot 3, D.P. 22860 to, and generally easterly along, the northern boundary of the said Lot 3, and southern boundary of Lot 6, and the northern boundary of Lot 4, D.P. 22860, the western boundary of Lot 2, D.P. 18980, the southern side of Richardsons Line, to and along the south-western boundary of Lot 3, D.P. 3111, to and along the northern boundary of Lot 4, D.P. 18980, and the north-western boundary of the land shown on S.O. Plan 25665 to the south-western side of Setters Line; thence south-easterly along that side to the boundary of the City of Palmerston North as described in Gazette, 1962, page 483; thence south-westerly along that boundary to the point of commencement.
THIRD SCHEDULE
ALL that area in the Kairanga County containing 3 acres 3 roods 18.83 perches, more or less, bounded by a line commencing at the western corner of Section 1696, Town of Palmerston North, in Block VII, Kairanga Survey District, being a point on the boundary of the City of Palmerston North as described in Gazette, 1962, page 483, and proceeding generally easterly along the north-western and north-eastern boundaries of the said Section 1696, to and along the northern boundary of part Lot VII, D.P. 203, as shown on S.O. Plan 23856, and its production to the north-eastern corner of part Lot VIII, D.P. 203, as shown on S.O. Plan 23856; thence southerly along the eastern boundary of that part Lot VIII, to and generally south-easterly along the north-eastern and south-eastern boundaries of Section 1696, aforesaid, to the southernmost corner of that section, being a point on the boundary of the City of Palmerston North, aforesaid; thence north-westerly along that boundary to the point of commencement.
FOURTH SCHEDULE
ALL that area in the Kairanga County containing 697 acres, more or less, bounded by a line commencing at a point in the middle of Setters Line in line with the northern side of the Wellington-Napier Railway (Palmerston North Deviation), and proceeding easterly to and along that boundary to, and north-easterly along, the north-western side of Kelvin Grove Road to a point in line with the north-eastern side of James Line; thence south-easterly to and along that side to the southern side of the railway aforesaid; thence easterly along that side to, and south-easterly along, the north-eastern boundary of Section 1622, Town of Palmerston North, a right line across the Wellington-Napier Railway to and along the north-eastern boundary of Section 1623, Town of Palmerston North for a distance of 150 links; thence generally south-westerly along right lines bearing 225° distance 1500 links, bearing 198° distance 800 links and along a right line to a point on the north-eastern side of James Line in line with the north-western boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 15807, to and along that boundary and a distance of 190 links along the south-western boundary of that lot; thence again generally south-westerly along right lines bearing 257° distance 640 links, bearing 0° distance 110 links, bearing 255° distance 100 links, bearing 200° distance 200 links, bearing 251° distance 400 links, bearing 235° distance 435 links, bearing 340° distance 213 links, bearing 225° distance 110 links, bearing 162° distance 220 links, bearing 214° distance 345 links, bearing 203° distance 630 links, bearing 263° distance 384 links, bearing 347° distance 460 links, bearing 223° distance 295 links, bearing 150° distance 150 links, bearing 255° distance 230 links, bearing 190° distance 160 links, bearing 265° distance 225 links, along a right line to the eastern corner of Lot 7, D.P. 20038, along the south-eastern boundary of that lot and its production to the western side of Roberts Line, southerly along that side for a distance of 125 links, along right lines bearing 213° distance 927 links, bearing 290° distance 670 links, bearing 265° distance 730 links, bearing 257° distance 610 links, bearing 250° distance 425 links to a point on the north-eastern boundary of Lot 2, plan A/234, 180 links approximately from its northernmost point, being a point on the boundary of the City of Palmerston North as described in Gazette, 1962, page 483; thence generally north-westerly along that boundary to the point of commencement.
FIFTH SCHEDULE
ALL that area in the Kairanga County containing 1,790 acres, more or less, bounded by a line commencing at a point on the right bank of the Manawatu River, in Block XI, Kairanga S.D., in line with the north-eastern boundary of Lot 3, D.P. 13701, and proceeding south-easterly to and along that boundary to the north-western side of Cliff Road; thence north-easterly along that side and its production to the south-eastern side of No. 57A State Highway; thence generally easterly along that side and the south-western side of Palmerston North-Pahiatua Hill Road to the north-western boundary of Section 290, Town of Fitzherbert; thence south-westerly along that boundary and the north-western boundary of Section 266, Town of Fitzherbert, to the north-eastern boundary of Section 216, Town of Fitzherbert; thence north-westerly along that boundary to, and south-westerly along, the north-western boundary of Section 213, Town of Fitzherbert, to the north-eastern side of Tiritea Road; thence north-westerly along that side to the south-eastern side of No. 57A State Highway; thence south-westerly along that side and north-westerly along the south-western side of the said State highway to the south-eastern boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 25790; thence generally north-westerly along the south-eastern and south-western boundaries of the said Lot 1, the south-western and north-western boundaries of Lot 2, D.P. 23387, the south-western side of No. 57A State Highway to and along the south-eastern, south-western, and north-western boundaries of Lot 1, D.P. 14605, to and along the south-western and north-western boundaries of Lot 1, D.P. 20066, the south-western side of No. 57A State Highway, to and along the south-eastern and south-western boundaries of Lot 3, D.P. 23387 to the north-western boundary of Lot 5, D.P. 2579; thence south-westerly along that boundary to, and north-westerly along, the north-eastern boundary of part Section 208, Town of Fitzherbert, as shown on S.O. Plan 21292 to the north-western boundary of the said Section 208; thence south-westerly along that boundary to the south-western boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 25688; thence north-westerly along that boundary and the south-western boundaries of Lot 2, D.P. 26639, and Lot 13, D.P. 1880 to, and generally north-westerly along, the south-eastern, south-western, and north-western boundaries of Lot 1, D.P. 27036 to, and north-westerly along, the south-western boundary of Lot 8, D.P. 1794 to the generally southern side of No. 57 State Highway; thence generally easterly along that side, crossing Clifton Road, to the south-western side of No. 57A State Highway; thence north-westerly along the production of that side to the western side of No. 57 State Highway; thence northerly along that side to its intersection with the left bank of the Manawatu River, and along a right line to the intersection of the south-western side of Fitzherbert Avenue with the right bank of the Manawatu River, being a point on the boundary of the City of Palmerston North as described in Gazette, 1962, page 483; thence easterly along that boundary to the point of commencement.
