Cancellation of Commission, Appointments, Extensions of Commissions, and Retirement of Officers of the Royal New Zealand Air Force

PURSUANT to section 15 of the Royal New Zealand Air Force Act 1950, His Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to approve the following cancellation of commission, appointments, extensions of commissions, and retirement of officers of the Royal New Zealand Air Force.

REGULAR AIR FORCE

GENERAL DUTIES BRANCH

Cancellation of Commission

The short-service commission of Acting Pilot Officer Michael Anthony Paget (82823) is hereby cancelled, with effect from 12 August 1967.

TECHNICAL BRANCH

Appointments

Engineer Division

Squadron Leader Robert Fraser Ward, M.B.E. (70444) to be temporary Wing Commander, with effect from 6 August 1967.

Flight Lieutenant Donald Ferguson Fleming (75450) to be temporary Squadron Leader, with effect from 6 August 1967.

RESERVE OF AIR FORCE OFFICERS

Extension of Commission

Flight Lieutenant (temp.) John Francis Tanner (73887) is granted an extension of his commission until 27 January 1986.

Retirement

Flying Officer John Allan Pankhurst, A.M.I.A.E. (133138) is retired, with effect from 2 August 1967.

AIR TRAINING CORPS

Appointments

Angus Ogilvy, M.A., is granted a commission in the Air Training Corps in the rank of Flight Lieutenant for a period ending 2 July 1971, with seniority from 3 July 1962, with effect from 3 July 1967.

Richard Albert Patston is granted a commission in the Air Training Corps in the rank of Pilot Officer for a period ending 9 July 1971, with seniority and effect from 10 July 1967.

Ross Stewart Dunlop is granted a commission in the Air Training Corps in the rank of Pilot Officer for a period ending 19 July 1971, with seniority and effect from 20 July 1967.

John Banks is granted a commission in the Air Training Corps in the rank of Pilot Officer for a period ending 2 August 1971, with seniority and effect from 3 August 1967.

Extensions of Commission

on the recommendation of the Morrinsville Borough Council, to be members of the Assessment Court for the Borough of Morrinsville.
