As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 21458 (S.O. 23504) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that, the land described in the First Schedule hereto, is hereby taken in connection with a parking place, and that the land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby taken in connection with a town hall, and public offices, library, music hall, dance and sports hall, and/or gymnasium, and other amenities to be provided pursuant to the Operative District Town Planning Scheme of the Council; and that the said pieces of land shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Upper Hutt as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 4th day of September 1967.

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby revoke the Proclamation dated 26 October 1938, and published in Gazette, 3 November 1938, Volume II, page 2296, and deposited in the Land Registry Office at Hamilton as No. 9792, in so far as it affects the land described in the Schedule hereto.

SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land containing 31 perches situated in Block IX, Rotoma Survey District, being Tautara 22 2A If Block. All certificate of title No. 6D/294, South Auckland Land Registry.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby revoke the proclamation dated the 30th day of July 1948, and published in Gazette, 5 August 1948, Volume II, at page 975, and registered as No. 3923, Wellington Land Registry, defining the middle line of a further portion of the Wellington-Napier Railway (Lower Hutt Valley Duplication) in so far as it affects the land described in the Schedule hereto.

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 226 of the Public Works Act 1928, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall, upon the publication hereof in the Gazette, become a road; and that the said road shall be under the control of the Stratford County Council, and shall be maintained by the said Council in like manner as other public highways are controlled and maintained by the said Council.
