WAITOTARA COUNTY COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

In the matter of the Counties Act 1956 and the Public Works
Act 1928, notice is hereby given that the Waitotara County
Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned
Acts, to take the land described in the Schedule hereto for
road.

Notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land so
required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the
Clerk of the said County Council, situate at number 331 Victoria
Avenue, Wanganui, and is open to inspection without fee,
by all persons during ordinary office hours.

All persons affected by the taking of the land who have
well grounded objections to the taking must state their
objection in writing and send the same, within forty (40)
days of the first publication of this notice, to the County
Clerk at the Council Chambers.

TAURANGA COUNTY COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND, TO SEVER LAND, AND TO
CLOSE PORTIONS OF ROAD

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that the Tauranga County
Council proposes, under the provisions of the Public Works
Act 1928, to take for road and severance the land described
in the First Schedule hereto, and also to close the portions
of road described in the Second Schedule.

A plan showing the land proposed to be taken, and the
land to be severed, and the portions of road to be closed,
is available for public inspection at the office of the Tauranga
County Council, Barke’s Corner, Cameron Road, Tauranga,
during forty (40) days from the date of the first publication
of this notice. All persons having well grounded objections to
any of the above-mentioned proposals are hereby called
upon to set forth their objections in writing, and to lodge
the same in the office of the Council, on or before the 25th
day of September 1967.

WHANGAROA COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Special Housing Loan 1967, $4,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Whangaroa County Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges
on a loan of $4,000 authorised to be raised by the Whangaroa
County Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the
purchase of land and erecting a house thereon or purchasing
land and an existing house, the said Whangaroa County
Council hereby makes a special rate of one-sixteenth of one
cent (1/16c) in the dollar upon the unimproved rateable value
of all rateable property comprising of the whole of the
County of Whangaroa, and that the special rate, shall be an
annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be
payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every
year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 20
years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

WHANGAROA COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Rural Housing Loan No. 1, 1967—$20,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Whangaroa County Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges
on a loan of $20,000, authorised to be raised by the Whangaroa
County Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the
making of advances to farmers in terms of the Rural Housing
Act 1939, the said Whangaroa County Council hereby makes
a special rate of one-quarter of a cent (1/4c) in the dollar
upon the unimproved rateable value of all rateable property
comprising the whole of the County of Whangaroa, and
that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during
the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st
day of August in each and every year during the currency
of the loan, being a period of 30 years, or until the loan is
fully paid off.”

MOUNT ROSKILL BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Roads and Streets Amalgamated Redemption Loan 1967,
$60,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Mount Roskill Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing annual charges on a
loan of sixty thousand dollars ($60,000), authorised to be
raised by the Mount Roskill Borough Council under the above-
mentioned Act, for repayment of $60,000 borrowed for roading
purposes, due and payable on the 8th day of September 1967,
the said Mount Roskill Borough Council hereby makes a
special rate of decimal nought six two five of a cent in the
dollar (.0625 of a cent in the $) upon the rateable value on
the basis of the unimproved value of all rateable property
in the Borough of Mount Roskill, and that the said special
rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency
of the said loan and to be payable yearly on the 1st day
of April in each and every year during the currency of the
said loan, being for a period of five (5) years, or until the
loan is fully paid off.”

Passed at a meeting of the Council held on the 15th day of
August 1967.
