RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Road Works and General Development Redemption Loan
1967 of $12,000
CERTIFIED copy of resolution making special rate as security for the Mount Albert 1967 Road Works and General Development Redemption Loan of $12,000, passed by the Mount Albert Borough Council at a meeting held on the 8th day of August 1967.
In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Municipal Corporations Act 1954, the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, and of every other power in that behalf enabling it, the Mount Albert Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the principal, interest, and other charges on a loan of $12,000, known as the Road Works and General Development Redemption Loan 1967 of $12,000, for the purpose of repaying on maturity that portion of the Road Works and General Development Loan 1952 of £250,000 which matures 20 September 1967, the Mount Albert Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of decimal nought nought two four (.0024) of a cent in the dollar on the rateable value on the basis of the capital value of all rateable property in the Borough of Mount Albert, and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and shall be payable yearly on the 31st day of March in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 10 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
Given under the Common Seal of the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the Borough of Mount Albert, this 18th day of August 1967.

GISBORNE CITY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
—
Pensioners Flats Loan 1967 of $6,000
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1965, the Gisborne City Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $6,000, authorised to be raised by the Gisborne City Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of meeting the cost of purchasing land and erecting additional accommodation for old people, the said Gisborne City Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.0021c in the dollar on the rateable value of all rateable property within the City of Gisborne, and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 40 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
The foregoing resolution was passed at a meeting of the Gisborne City Council held on 15 August 1967.

HAWERA BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

King Edward Park Dwelling Loan 1966, $10,000
THE following resolution was passed at a duly constituted meeting of the Hawera Borough Council, held at the Council Chambers, High Street, Hawera, on the 17th day of August 1967:
Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Hawera Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $10,000, authorised to be raised by the Hawera Borough Council under the above-named Act, for the purpose of erecting a house in King Edward Park, High Street, Hawera, including preparation of site and provision of necessary paths and driveways, the said Hawera Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought one five two six eight (.015268) of a cent in the dollar on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Borough of Hawera comprising the whole of the Borough of Hawera (defined in New Zealand Gazette, 1960, No. 4, at page 68), and that the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being for a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

Wellington City Housing (Hanson Street Flats) Loan No. 5,
1967 of $70,000
THE following resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Wellington City Council held on the 16th day of August 1967:
Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Wellington City Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of seventy thousand dollars ($70,000), to be known as the Wellington City Housing (Hanson Street Flats) Loan No. 5, 1967 of $70,000, authorised to be raised by the Wellington City Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of constructing flats and ancillary works the Wellington City Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought nought three of a cent (.003c) in the dollar on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property within the whole of the City of Wellington, and that the said special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each year during the currency of the said loan, being a period of forty (40) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

Pensioner Housing Loan 1967, £2,500
RESOLUTION re special rate passed by the Council on the 12th day of June 1967:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on the loan of £2,500, authorised to be raised by the Alexandra Borough Council pursuant to the provisions of the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, for the purpose of building pensioners flats, the Alexandra Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of 1/8 of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Borough of Alexandra, and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable half yearly on the 1st day of April and the 1st day of October in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 30 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

Notice of Application for Consent to Specified Departure
NOTICE is hereby given that application has been made by Cycle Harvesters Ltd., a duly incorporated company having its registered office at the offices of Clews, Cooney, and Co., Accountants, Peacocks Buildings, Catherine Street, Henderson, for consent to a specified departure to permit the use of the land hereinafter described, for the purposes of the erection of a grain processing plant of silos and buildings.
Special conditions, restrictions, or provisions proposed for the application are:
(a) Disposal of waste will be to Council rubbish dump or by controlled incineration;
(b) Off street parking will be provided as required by Council;
(c) Processing plant and buildings will be connected to sewer drainage;
(d) Accommodation will be provided for caretaker.
The property is on the west side of the Helensville-Kaukapakapa main highway (State Highway No. 16) in the Borough of Helensville, and it is located in the Rural Zone. The legal description of the land is: All that piece of land containing 1 acre and 34.47 perches, more or less, being situate in the Borough of Helensville, being part of Lot 3 on Deeds Plan 817, and part of the Ota-mateanui Block, and the whole of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 1054, folio 214 (North Auckland Registry), limited as to parcels.
The application may be examined at the office of the Helensville Borough Council in Commercial Road, Helensville, during normal office hours, and any person or body affected may object to the application by notice in writing delivered to the Town Clerk, Helensville Borough Council, P.O. Box 61, Helensville, not later than 4 p.m., on the 7th day of September 1967.
Every objector shall state the grounds of the objection and whether the objector wishes to be heard by the Council in support of his objection.
