NORTH AUCKLAND ELECTRIC POWER BOARD
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that at a meeting of the North Auckland Electric Power Board held on the 13th day of July 1967, the following resolution was passed:
Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the North Auckland Electric Power Board hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of five hundred thousand dollars ($500,000), authorised to be raised by the North Auckland Electric Power Board under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of supplying and distributing electrical energy in the Board’s District, the said North Auckland Electric Power Board hereby makes a special rate of decimal one eight seven five cents (.1875c) in the dollar ($) upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the North Auckland Electric Power District, and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of twenty (20) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

MACKENZIE COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Staff Housing Loan 1966, £15,000 ($30,000)
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Mackenzie County Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on the Staff Housing Loan 1966, £15,000 ($30,000), authorised to be raised by the Mackenzie County Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of purchasing land and erecting three staff houses, the said Mackenzie County Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal 03459 pence in the pound (.01441 cents in the dollar) upon the capital value of all rateable property in the County of Mackenzie, and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable half-yearly on the 15th day of October and the 15th day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 30 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
The Mackenzie County Council at a meeting on 4 August 1967, passed the above resolution.

MARLBOROUGH CATCHMENT BOARD
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Kaikoura Office, Store, and Depot Loan £13,000
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, and the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Act 1941, and all other powers in that behalf enabling, the Marlborough Catchment Board hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing security for the payment of principal and interest on a loan of £13,000, authorised to be raised by the Marlborough Catchment Board under the above-mentioned Acts, for the purpose of purchasing land and constructing an office and store building and depot at Kaikoura, the said Board hereby makes a special rate of decimal point nought nought eight pence (.008d.) in the pound upon the rateable capital value of all rateable property in the Marlborough Catchment District, and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate, payable on demand during the currency of such loan, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
I hereby certify that the above resolution was duly passed at the meeting of the Marlborough Catchment Board held on the 16th day of May 1967.

THE WAITAKI ELECTRIC-POWER BOARD
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Renewal Loan 1967, £20,000 ($40,000)
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Waitaki Electric-power Board resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £20,000 ($40,000) to be known as Renewal Loan 1967, authorised to be raised by the Waitaki Electric-power Board under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of redeeming at maturity part of the special loan known as Extension Loan 1956, the said Waitaki Electric-power Board hereby makes a special rate of 0.00875 cents in the dollar ($) upon the capital rateable value of all rateable property of the Waitaki Electric Power District comprising the constituent districts of Oamaru Borough, Waitaki County, and part Waimate and Mackenzie Counties; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 10 years or until the loan is fully paid off.”
The above resolution was passed at a meeting of the Waitaki Electric-power Board held on the 24th day of July 1967.

BOROUGH OF TE AROHA
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Te Aroha Borough Council Waterworks Extensions and Improvements Loan 1966, £90,000 ($180,000)
NOTICE is hereby given that, at a special meeting of the Te Aroha Borough Council held on the 21st day of March 1967, the following resolution was passed:
In pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, and all other enabling authorities, the Te Aroha Borough Council hereby resolves:
“(a) That, for the purpose of providing for interest and sinking fund in respect of the Te Aroha Borough Council Waterworks Extensions and Improvement Loan 1966, £90,000 ($180,000), authorised to be raised by the Te Aroha Borough Council under the above mentioned Act, the said Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of two decimal seven one three four four (2.71344d.) pence in the pound or (1.1306 cents in the dollar) on all rateable property in the Borough of Te Aroha, on the basis of the unimproved value, and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable annually on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, during the period of 20 years or until the loan is fully paid off.
“(b) That a sinking fund be and is hereby established, in order to provide funds for the repayment of the securities to be issued in respect of the said loan.
“(c) That the Council shall pay to the commissioner of the said sinking fund on the 1st day of March 1968, and on every subsequent 1st day of March up to and including the 1st day of March 1988, a contribution of not less than three pounds five shillings and five pence (£3 5s. 5d.) or ($6.54) percent per annum, calculated on the amount raised.
“(d) That the said annual contributions are hereby appropriated and pledged out of the special rate made and levied.
“(e) That in pursuance with its powers and authorities, the Te Aroha Borough Council hereby appoints the Public Trustee to be the sole commissioner of the sinking fund herein provided for, and such appointment shall be irrevocable, anything contained in the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 or in any other Act to the contrary notwithstanding, so long as any moneys shall remain owing under the securities to be issued in respect of the said loan.
“(f) That such sinking fund shall be dealt with and managed as required by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and all other Acts or laws for the time being in force applicable thereto, and all moneys coming into the hands of the Public Trustee by virtue of this sinking fund shall be dealt with by him in accordance therewith.”
