CITY OF PAPATOETOE

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

THAT pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Papatoetoe City Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on the loan of twenty-six thousand dollars ($26,000), authorised to be raised by the Papatoetoe City Council under the abovenamed Act for the purpose of repaying on maturity that portion of the Great South Road Improvement Loan 1953, which matures on the 8th day of August 1967, the said Papatoetoe City Council hereby makes a special rate of point nought two four one cents (.0241c) in the dollar upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the City of Papatoetoe, and that the special rate shall be an annualrecurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 10 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on the loan of twenty thousand dollars ($20,000), authorised to be raised by the Papatoetoe City Council under the above-named Act, for the purpose of repaying on maturity that portion of the Sewerage Reticulation Loan 1956, which matures on the 23rd day of December 1967, the said Papatoetoe City Council hereby makes a special rate of point nought one one eight two cents (.01182c) in the dollar upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the City of Papatoetoe, and that the special rate shall be an annualrecurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 20 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

TAIERI COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Wingatui Water Supply Loan 1967 of $28,000

Copy of resolution passed by the Taieri County Council, on Friday, 28 July 1967.

Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Taieri County Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $28,000, authorised to be raised by the Taieri County Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of providing a water supply for the Wingatui Water Supply Area, the said Taieri County Council hereby makes a special rate of 1.0408 cents in the dollar ($) upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Wingatui Water Supply Area comprising the whole of the Wingatui Water Supply Area, and that the special rate shall be an annualrecurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 30 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

HA WERA BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

The Hawera Abattoir Extension Loan 1966, Β£7,750

THE following resolution was passed at a duly constituted meeting of the Hawera Borough Council, held at the Council Chambers, High Street, Hawera, on the 20th day of March 1967:

Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Hawera Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of Β£7,750, authorised to be raised by the Hawera Borough Council under the abovementioned Act, for the purpose of meeting the cost of constructing a chiller room at the municipal abattoir, and interior fittings, and carrying out minor alterations to existing facilities, the said Hawera Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought five six nine six two (.056962) of a penny in the pound on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Borough of Hawera comprising the whole of the Borough of Hawera (defined in New Zealand Gazette, 1960, No. 4, at page 68), and that the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being for a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

Loans-Sewerage Loan No. 1, 1964-$700,000, Third Issue of $418,000

On the 24th day of July 1967, my council passed the following resolution:

Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Tauranga City Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $418,000, authorised to be raised by the Tauranga City Council under the abovementioned Act, for the purpose of providing a site and constructing a sewerage treatment plant, providing an outfall for treated sewage and associated works within the city, the Tauranga City Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal point one four seven cents (.147c) in the dollar upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the City of Tauranga, and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of the said loan, being a period of 30 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $240,000, authorised to be raised by the Tauranga City Council under the abovementioned Act, for the purpose of constructing mains and pumping stations for sewage disposal within the city, the Tauranga City Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal point nought eight four cents (.084c) in the dollar upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the City of Tauranga, and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of the said loan, being a period of 30 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."
