THAMES VALLEY ELECTRIC-POWER BOARD
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Electrical Workshops Loan 1967, $260,000
NOTICE is hereby given that at a meeting of the Thames Valley Electric-Power Board held at the Board’s offices, Te Aroha, on the 1st day of August 1967, the following resolution was passed:
In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, and all other powers (if any) it thereunto enabling, the Thames Valley Electric-Power Board hereby resolves as follows:
“That for the purpose of providing the annual charges of principal, interest, and other charges, on the Electrical Workshops Loan 1967, $260,000, authorised to be raised by the Board under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of erecting Electrical Workshops and ancillary equipment, the said Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of decimal nought nought nine five two cents (0.00952c) in the dollar on the rateable value (on the basis of capital value) of all rateable property within the whole of the Thames Valley Electric-power district, and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, being a period of 20 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

WAITAKI COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Council Offices Reconstruction Loan, $18,000
THAT in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Waitaki County Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of eighteen thousand dollars ($18,000), authorised to be raised by the Waitaki County Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of reconstructing the Council Offices, the said Waitaki County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 0.015 cents in the dollar ($) on the rateable value on the basis of the unimproved value of all rateable property in the County of Waitaki, and such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of September during the currency of such loan, being a period of ten (10) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

Notice of Application for Consent to Conditional Use
NOTICE is hereby given that application has been made by Christopher John Kay, of Birkenhead, car salesman, for consent to a conditional use of the land hereinafter described, namely, to carry on the business of car dealers and to display motor vehicles in the course of such business.
The property is situated at 178 Onewa Road, Birkenhead, and is located in the commercial “B” zone. The legal description of the land is; all that land containing one rood sixteen decimal 9 perches, more or less, being part Allotment 57, Parish of Takapuna, and being all the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 777, folio 93, North Auckland Registry.
The application may be examined at the office of the Birkenhead Borough Council, Rawene Road, Birkenhead, during normal office hours and any person or body affected may object to the application by notice in writing, delivered to the Town Clerk, Birkenhead Borough Council, P.O. Box 34-001, Birkenhead, not later than the 31st day of August 1967.
Every objector shall state the grounds of the objection and whether the objector wishes to be heard by the Council in support of his objection.

WANGANUI COUNTY COUNCIL
TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953
Inviting Proposals for Wanganui County District Scheme—Section 2
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that the Wanganui County Council at its meeting held on the 14th day of July 1967, has resolved to prepare for the remainder of the county area not included within section 1, a district scheme as required by the provisions of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953.
Every person concerned and every local authority in the district as defined by section 2 of the Act, is hereby invited to submit full information as to the proposals (including public works) which in his or its opinion, should be considered in the preparation of the scheme.
Proposals marked “Wanganui County District Scheme” should be addressed to the County Clerk and delivered at the County Clerk’s office, on or before the 30th day of November 1967.
