NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND


NOTICE is hereby given that the Paparua County Council, acting on behalf of the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Paparua, proposes to take, pursuant to the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, the lands described in the Schedule hereto for the purposes of widening the Middle Lincoln Road. A plan showing the extent of the land to be taken has been deposited in the office of the Paparua County Council, 140 Main South Road, Christchurch, and may be inspected during normal business hours.

Every person affected by the proposed taking of land or by the proposed work is hereby called upon to set forth in writing any objection he may wish to make, not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation, and to send the written objection within 40 days of the first publication of this notice to the County Clerk, Paparua County Council, Box 11011, Christchurch. If any such objection is received a public hearing of the objection will be held unless the objection otherwise requires, and each objection will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.

SCHEDULE

ALL those pieces of land situated in Block XIV of the Christchurch Survey District, and being shown in a plan prepared by T. E. Miles, registered surveyor, dated June 1967, a copy of which is lodged in the Public Office of the Paparua County Council:
