LOWER HUTT CITY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION TO MAKE SPECIAL RATE

Redemption Loan No. 23, 1967—$32,000
THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Lower Hutt City Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of thirty-two thousand dollars ($32,000), authorised to be raised by the Lower Hutt City Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of repaying on maturity that portion of the Town Hall and Administrative Building, Loan No. 2, 1955—£80,000, which matures on 1 September 1967, the said Lower Hutt City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 0.035 of a cent in the dollar on the rateable value (on the basis of the annual value) on all rateable property in the City of Lower Hutt, and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be incorporated and added to the consolidated special rate made pursuant to the provisions of section 108A of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954, and be payable yearly on or about the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 20 years, or until such time as the loan is paid off.”

I hereby certify that the above resolution was duly passed at the meeting of the Lower Hutt City Council held on 24 July 1967.

TAURANGA COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Katikati County Town Sewerage (Stage I) Loan, 1967
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Tauranga County Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on Katikati County Town Sewerage (Stage I) Loan, 1967, authorised to be raised by the Tauranga County Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of providing sanitary sewers and sewage treatment plant for the first stage of Council’s civic development scheme the said Tauranga County Council hereby makes a special rate of thirteen decimal seven cents in the dollar (13.7 cents) upon the rateable unimproved value of all rateable property in the sewerage district special rating area and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable half yearly on the 1st day of April and the 1st day of October in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 10 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Tauranga County Council held on the 17th day of July 1967.

ROTORUA COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Redemption Loan 1967, $10,600
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Rotorua County Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $10,600, authorised to be raised by the Rotorua County Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of repayment on maturity, that portion of the Eastern Area Water Supply Loan, 1961, £105,000, which matures on 2 October 1967, the said Rotorua County Council hereby makes a special rate of .119c (decimal one one nine cents) in the $ (dollar) upon the unimproved rateable value of all rateable property of the Eastern Area Water Supply Rating District, comprising the area described in the special roll prepared in accordance with Part II of the Local Authorities Loans Regulations 1957/28 on 15 November 1960, and plan of the Eastern Area Water Supply Special Rating District deposited in the County Office, Amohau Street, Rotorua, and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 2nd day of October in each and every year during the currency of the loan, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

I certify that the foregoing is a true and correct copy of a resolution of the Rotorua County Council, passed at a meeting held on 25 July 1967.

TE AWAMUTU BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Te Awamutu Borough Council hereby resolves:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $83,000, authorised to be raised under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of erecting municipal offices for the Borough, the said Te Awamutu Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.145c (one hundred and forty-five thousandths of a cent) in the dollar upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the Borough, and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of October in each year and every year during the currency of the loan, being 35 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

PATEA COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Rural Housing Loan 1967, £12,000
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the County Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £12,000, authorised to be raised by the Patea County Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the making of advances to farmers in terms of the Rural Housing Act 1939, the said Patea County Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought three nine pence (.039d.) in the pound (.01625 cents in the dollar) upon the rateable capital value of all rateable property comprising the whole of the County of Patea, and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 15th day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 20 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

ST. KILDA BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Elderly Persons Housing Loan 1966, £8,700
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the St. Kilda Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £8,700, authorised to be raised by the St. Kilda Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of erecting flats for pensioners in the Central Battery site, St. Kilda, the said St. Kilda Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.109d. in the pound (£) upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Borough of St. Kilda comprising the whole of the Borough of St. Kilda, and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable half yearly on the 15th day of June and 15th day of December in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 30 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
