FEATHERSTON COUNTY COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

IN the matter of the Counties Act 1956 and in the matter
of the Public Works Act 1928, notice is hereby given that
the Featherston County Council proposes, under the pro-
visions of the above-mentioned Acts to execute a certain
public work, namely, a public road; and for the purposes of
such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto
is required to be taken:

And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land
so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of
the Clerk to the said Council, situate at Kitchener Street,
Martinborough, and is open for inspection without fee, by all
persons during ordinary office hours.

All persons affected by the execution of the said public
work or by the taking of the said land who have any
objection to the execution of the said public work or to the
taking of the said land (not being an objection to the
amount or payment of compensation) must state their
objections in writing and send the written objection, within
40 days from the first publication of this notice, to the
County Clerk at the Council Chambers, Kitchener Street,
Martinborough. If any objection is made as aforesaid a public
hearing of the objection will be held unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time
and place of the hearing.

SCHEDULE

ALL that parcel of land containing 22 acres 2 roods 13.3
perches, more or less, being parts of Section 3 and 10,
Moroa District, Block IV, Wairarapa Survey District, and
part of the land in certificate of title, Volume 97, folio 198
(Wellington Registry), coloured orange on the above-
mentioned plan and being unformed and undedicated roads
between Phillip's Line, Moroa Road, and No. 1 Line in the
Featherston County.

Date of first publication of this notice is the 28th day of
July 1967.

WAITOTARA COUNTY COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

IN the matter of the Counties Act 1956 and The Public
Works Act 1928, notice is hereby given that the Waitotara
County Council proposes under the provisions of the above-
mentioned Acts, to take the land described in the Schedule
hereto for road; notice is hereby further given that a plan
of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the public
office of the Clerk of the said County Council, situate at
number 331 Victoria Avenue, Wanganui, and is open to
inspection without fee, by all persons during ordinary office
hours.

All persons affected by the taking of the said land who
have well grounded objections to the taking, must state their
objection in writing, and send the same, within forty (40)
days of the first publication of this notice, to the County
Clerk at the Council Chambers.

SCHEDULE

ALL that piece of land situate in the County of Waitotara
containing twenty-one decimal two perches (21.2 p.), more or
less, being part of the land in plan A/877, being part Section
122, Right Bank Wanganui River, and being part of the land
in certificate of title, Volume 459, folio 166, and all the land
shown on S.O. Plan numbered 26896, and thereon coloured
orange situated in Block XIII, Waipakura Survey District,
on Western Road.

HASTINGS CITY COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR PUBLIC STREET

IN the matter of the Public Works Act 1928 and in the
matter of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954:

WHEREAS, it is provided by section 11 of the Public Works Act
1928, that land required for any public work may be taken if
for a local work by the Local Authority; and whereas, it is
the intention of the Hastings City Council to provide further
land within the City of Hastings for an extension to the
North End of King Street:

Now, therefore, notice is hereby given that the Hastings
City Council proposes under the provisions of the Municipal
Corporations Act 1954 and the Public Works Act 1928, and
all other Acts and powers enabling it in that behalf to
take for the purpose of a certain public work, namely,
for a public street in Hastings, being an extension
of the North End of King Street, the land described
in the Schedule hereto; and notice is hereby further
given that a plan of the land so required to be taken is
deposited in the public office of the Town Clerk to the said
Council, at Hastings Street, Hastings, and is there open for
inspection without fee, by all persons during ordinary office
hours.

All persons affected by the execution of the said public
work or by the taking of such land, who have any objection
to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of
the said land, are hereby called upon to set forth the same
in writing, and to send such writing within forty (40) days
from the first publication of this notice to the Hastings City
Council, addressed to the Town Clerk at his said Office.

TAUMARUNUI BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Sewerage Additional Loan 1967, $80,000

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that at a meeting of the
Taumarunui Borough Council held on Monday, 26 June 1967,
the following resolution was passed:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
a loan of $80,000, authorised to be raised by the Taumarunui
Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the
purpose of completing sewerage reticulation in the Matapuna
area and extending reticulation to serve the Rangaroa area,
the Taumarunui Borough Council hereby makes a special
rate of point eight five pence (.85d.) in the pound (Β£) upon
the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value)
of all rateable property in the Borough of Taumarunui, and
that the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during
the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st
day of November in each and every year during the currency
of the loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is
fully repaid."

I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy
of a resolution passed by the Taumarunui Borough Council,
at a meeting held on Monday, 26 June 1967.

NELSON HARBOUR BOARD

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Special Rate Redemption Loan 1967 of $26,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Nelson Harbour Board hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
the Redemption Loan 1967 of $26,000, authorised to be
raised by the Nelson Harbour Board for the purpose of
supplementing the appropriate portion of the accumulated
sinking fund of eleven thousand three hundred and twenty
dollars, so as to redeem at maturity that part of the Nelson
Harbour Board Empowering Act 1948 Loan 1949, which
matures on 1st October 1967, the said Nelson Harbour Board
hereby makes the special rate of $0.000028 in the dollar on
the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all
rateable property of the Nelson Harbour Board district, and
that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during
the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st
day of October in each and every year during the currency
of such loan, being a period of 15 years, or until the loan
is fully paid off."

I hereby certify that the foregoing is a true copy of a
resolution passed by the Nelson Harbour Board on the 17th
day of July 1967.
