RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
——
Rural Housing Loan No. 2, 1967—£10,000
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Waimate West County Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of ten thousand pounds (£10,000), authorised to be raised by the Waimate West County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of providing advances under the Rural Housing Act 1939, the said Waimate West County Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought two two three six pence (0.02236d.) in the pound on the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property in the County of Waimate West, and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable half yearly, the first such payment to be made not later than six months after the date of payment of the first instalment, and subsequently in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

WYNDHAM TOWN COUNCIL

NOTICE OF RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
——
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Wyndham Town Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £3,000 ($6,000), authorised to be raised by the Wyndham Town Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of purchasing a new fire appliance and equipment incidental thereto, the said Wyndham Town Council hereby makes a special rate of 2.343d. in the pound (0.976c in the dollar), upon the rateable property of the Wyndham Town District; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 31st day of March in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 10 years or until the loan is fully paid off.”

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Rural Housing Loan 1967, £10,000
THE following resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Waipara County Council held on the 10th day of July 1967:
“That, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Waipara County Council hereby resolves that for the purpose of providing annual loan charges on a loan of £10,000 ($20,000) to be known as the Rural Housing Loan 1967, £10,000, authorised to be raised by the Waipara County Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of making advances for housing under the provisions of the Rural Housing Act 1939, and in accordance with conditions outlined in the Local Authorities Loans Board’s sanction, the said Waipara County Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal point one six seven (0.167c) of a cent in the dollar on the capital value of all rateable property in the Waipara County; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

Wellington City Housing Renewal Loan 1967 of $178,600
THE following resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Wellington City Council held on the 12th day of July 1967:
Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Wellington City Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of one hundred and seventy-eight thousand six hundred dollars ($178,600) to be known as the Wellington City Housing Renewal Loan 1967 of $178,600, authorised to be raised by the Wellington City Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of repaying on maturity that portion of the Housing Loan 1955, £200,000, which matures on 1 October 1967, the Wellington City Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought two six of a cent (.026c) in the dollar on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property within the whole of the City of Wellington, and that the said special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each year during the currency of the said loan, being a period of twenty (20) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

Notice of Application for Consent to Conditional Use
NOTICE is hereby given that application has been made by Schofield and Co. Ltd., for consent to a conditional use within the operative district scheme of the Borough of Newmarket, in that the applicant wishes the below described land to be utilised for the purposes of erecting thereon premises and pumps for the retail sale of fuel for motor vehicles.
The property is situated at the corner of Broadway and George Street, Newmarket, and is located in the industrial B zone.
The legal description of the land is all that piece of land containing three roods two perches, more or less, being Lots 3 to 8 of a subdivision of Allotment 27, Section 3, Suburbs of Auckland.
The application may be examined at the office of the Newmarket Borough Council, Broadway, Newmarket, during normal office hours and any person or body affected may object to the application by notice in writing, delivered to the Town Clerk, Newmarket Borough Council, P.O. Box 9009, Newmarket, Auckland, not later than 4 p.m., on the 11th day of August 1967.
Every objector shall state the grounds of the objection and whether the objector wishes to be heard by the Council in support of his objection.

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953

Public Notification of the Wanganui County District Scheme—Section I
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that pursuant to a resolution of the Wanganui County Council made on the 9th day of December 1966, a district scheme has been recommended for approval under the “Town and Country Planning Act 1953”. The scheme relates to the No. 1 section of the Wanganui County Council district scheme, being that area of land in the county lying between the city boundary and approximately a circle of 3 miles radius with the centre at the Wanganui Chief Post Office, leaving the Wanganui River at Kaimatira Road, and meeting the coast at the mouth of the Kaitoke Stream. The scheme has been deposited at the Wanganui City Public Library and the County Office, No. 7 Campbell Place, Wanganui, in accordance with section 22 (1) of that Act, and is there open for inspection, without fee, to all persons interested therein at any time when the above places are open to the public.
Objections to the scheme or to any part thereof shall be in writing in form E prescribed in the First Schedule to the “Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960”, and shall be lodged at the office of the Council at any time not later than Friday, the 27th day of October 1967.
At a later date every objection will be open for public inspection, and any person who wishes to support or oppose any objection will be entitled to be heard at the hearing of objections, if he notifies the County Clerk in writing within the period of which public notice will be given.
