RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Staff Housing Loan—£10,000
Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Whangarei County Council did on the 9th day of June 1967, resolve as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £10,000, authorised to be raised by the Whangarei County Council under the above-mentioned Act, for making advances to staff for housing purposes, the said Whangarei County Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought four seven pence (0.047d.) in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the County of Whangarei, and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable half yearly on the 1st day of April and the 1st day of October in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 30 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

WHANGAREI COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Bridges Reconstruction Loan, £38,000
Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Whangarei County Council did on the 9th day of June 1967, resolve as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £38,000, authorised to be raised by the Whangarei County Council under the above-mentioned Act, for meeting part cost of constructing bridges and reconstructing bridges, the said Whangarei County Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal seven two (0.72) pence in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the County of Whangarei, and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable half yearly on the 1st day of April and the 1st day of October in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 30 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

WHANGAREI CITY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Pensioners Flats Loan 1967—Otangarei Stage II, £24,600
Pursuant to the local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Whangarei City Council at a meeting held on the 7th day of June 1967, passed the following resolution:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of twenty-four thousand six hundred pounds (£24,600), authorised to be raised by the Whangarei City Council for the purpose of erecting accommodation for old people, the said Whangarei City Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.271d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the City of Whangarei, and that the said special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan or until the loan is paid off, and the said Council doth hereby appropriate and pledge the said rate as security for the said loan.”

WHAKATANE COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Rural Housing Loan No. 3, 1967, £30,000
Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Whakatane County Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £30,000, authorised to be raised by the Whakatane County Council for the purpose of making advances to farmers in accordance with the Rural Housing Act 1939, the Whakatane County Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal one two pence (0.12d.) in the pound upon all rateable property within the County of Whakatane, and that the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of thirty (30) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

HAMILTON CITY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Sewer Renewal Loan 1967, £16,000
Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Hamilton City Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of sixteen thousand pounds (£16,000), authorised to be raised by the Hamilton City Council under the abovementioned Act, for the purpose of repaying on maturity that portion of the Beerescourt Sewer Loan 1953, £101,000 issue of £20,000, which matures on the 1st day of July 1967, the Hamilton City Council hereby makes a special rate of sixteen thousandths of a penny (0.16d.) in the pound on the rateable value of all rateable property in the City of Hamilton, and that the special rate shall be an annualrecurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April of each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 15 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was passed at a duly constituted meeting of the Hamilton City Council held on the 14th day of June 1967.

WAVERLEY TOWN COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Waverley Town Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £3,600, authorised to be raised by the Waverley Town Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of advancing money to the local medical practitioner to enable him to purchase a house, the said The Waverley Town Council hereby makes a special rate of 15/16d. in the pound upon the rateable value on the basis of the unimproved value of all rateable property of the Waverley Town District comprising the whole of the Waverley Town District; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of fifteen (15) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

WANGANUI CITY COUNCIL

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953

Approved Changes to the City of Wanganui District Scheme Pursuant to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960, public notice is hereby given that, the under-mentioned changes to the district scheme under the Town and Country Planning Act 1953, for the City of Wanganui, were approved by the Council by resolutions passed at its meeting on the 12th day of June 1967, after all objections relating to the changes had been disposed of. No appeals were made to the Board.
The Council has also resolved that the changes shall come into operation on the 1st day of July 1967.
Copies of the changes as approved have been deposited in the Council's office, St. Hill Street, Wanganui, and in the Wanganui Public Library, and may be inspected, without fee, by any person who so requires, at any time when that office is open to the public.
