A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to subsection (6) of section 5 of the Education Lands Act 1949, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, being an area vested in the Southland Education Board as a site for a public school, shall be vested in Her Majesty the Queen, freed and discharged from every educational trust affecting the same, but subject to all leases, encumbrances, liens, or easements affecting the same at the date hereof.

Amending a Proclamation Setting Apart Land as a Provisional State Forest

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 21 of the Forests Act 1949, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby amend the Proclamation issued on the 5th day of July 1920 and published in the New Zealand Gazette on the 8th day of July 1920, at page 2120, by revoking that part of the description in the Schedule to the said Proclamation as is set out in the First Schedule hereto, and substituting therefor, the description set out in the Second Schedule hereto, and this amendment shall take effect as from the date of the said Proclamation.

SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT—ROTORUA CONSERVANCY
ALSO all that area of Crown land in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 4,584 acres, more or less, being Sections 12, 13, and 15, Block XVI, Otanewainuku Survey District; Section 7, Block XIII, Maketu Survey District; and Sections 8 and 21, Block IV, Rotorua Survey District. As the same is delineated on plan marked 103, in green, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Forestry, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

and 21, Block IV, Rotorua Survey District: Area, 2,457 acres 2 roods, more or less. As the same is delineated on plan marked N. 67/1 deposited in the Head Office of the New Zealand Forest Service, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
