HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 439 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, His
Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby sets apart
the Maori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto as
a Maori reservation, for the purpose of a meeting place
for the common use and benefit of the Whanau-A-Hunaara
hapu of the Ngatiporou tribe.

Boundaries of the County of Taupo and the Borough of Taupo
Altered

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Local Government Commission Act 1961,
His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes
the following order.
ORDER
- This order shall come into force on 1 April 1968.
- The area described in the Schedule hereto is hereby
excluded from the district of the County of Taupo and
included in the district of the Borough of Taupo. - The alteration of the boundaries of the said Borough
shall be deemed to have been effected under the Municipal
Corporations Act 1954. - The Taupo Borough Council shall supply water to the
Taupo County Council at a rate and in sufficient quantity to
enable the said County Council to supply residents of Whare-
waka Point and Tauhara Township (as such two areas are
defined in the special rating area of the said County) at a
rate equivalent to that charged to the residents of the area
described in the Schedule hereto. - The Taupo Borough Council shall supply water to the
Taupo County Council to supply residents of any additional
areas of land within the said County which can be supplied
without engineering difficulties at a reasonable rate, having
regard to the circumstances. - The Taupo Borough Council shall take over from the
Taupo County Council the net loan liability for the Tauhara
water supply and any assets and liabilities in connection
therewith. - Except as hereinbefore provided, there shall be no
apportionment of assets and liabilities upon the inclusion of
the area described in the Schedule hereto in the district of
the Borough of Taupo.
SCHEDULE
ALL that area in the South Auckland Land District, Taupo
County, containing 880 acres, more or less, bounded by a line
commencing at a point on the eastern shore of Lake Taupo,
due west from the intersection of the western boundary of
part Waipahihi 12A 1 Block, with the production northerly of
the western boundary of Waipahihi 4D Block, situated in
Block II, Tauhara Survey District, and proceeding generally
south-westerly along that lake shore to a point in line with
the north-eastern boundary of Section 34, Block VI, Tauhara
Survey District; thence south-easterly along a right line to
and along that north-eastern boundary and its production
to the intersection with the production south-westerly of the
south-eastern boundary of part Section 1, Block VI aforesaid;
thence north-easterly along that last-mentioned production,
and the south-eastern boundary aforesaid, the south-eastern
boundary of Lot 89, D.P. 33323, the eastern end of the old
Taupo Napier Road, to and generally north-easterly along
the generally south-eastern boundary of Section 51, Block VI
aforesaid, to the easternmost corner of that Section; thence
northerly along a right line to the eastern end of a line bearing
109° 20' and measuring 995.4 links as shown on Survey
Office Plan 16058, being a point on the generally northern
side of State Highway No. 5; thence westerly along that side
to and along the southern boundary of the Taupo Borough,
as described in New Zealand Gazette 1964, page 2272, to the
point of commencement.

tive amounts specified in that Schedule.

The Domain Road (Whakatane) Cemetery Closing Order 1967

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Burial and Cremation Act 1964, His Ex-
cellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the
following order.
ORDER
- This order may be cited as the Domain Road (Whaka-
tane) Cemetery Closing Order 1967. - It is hereby directed that the Domain Road (Whakatane)
Cemetery, being the area described in the First Schedule
hereto, shall be closed and burials therein discontinued after
the 31st day of December 1967, except in the plots of ground
specified in the Second Schedule hereto. - As from the 31st day of December 1967 the control and
management of the closed Domain Road (Whakatane) Ceme-
tery shall vest in the Whakatane Borough Council.
FIRST SCHEDULE
DOMAIN ROAD (WHAKATANE) CEMETERY
ALL that area in the South Auckland Land District containing
2 acres, more or less, being Allotment Lot 267, Parish of
Waimana, Block II, Whakatane Survey District.
