PURSUANT to section 149 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the consent of the Executive Council, hereby consents to the Waipukurau County Council stopping the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto.

ALL that portion of road containing 23.8 perches situated in Block XV, Waipukurau Survey District, Waipukurau County, Hawke’s Bay R.D., and adjoining or passing through Closed Road and part Lot 20, D.P. 1672, being part Block 17, Waipukurau Crown Grant District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 21040 (S.O. 5618) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

Altering the Boundaries of the Marlborough Catchment District

PURSUANT to the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Act 1941, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby alters the boundaries of the Marlborough Catchment District, as constituted by Order in Council dated 14 September 1955, published in Gazette, No. 58, on 15 September 1955, at page 1429, and altered by Order in Council, dated 20 December 1965, published in Gazette, No. 78, at page 2324, by including therein, as from 1 April 1967, the areas described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

ALL that area in the Marlborough Land District, Counties of Awatere and Kaikoura, containing 48,800 acres, more or less, bounded by a line commencing at Trig. Station Y, Mt. Malvern, in Block XV, Blue Mountain Survey District, and proceeding north-easterly generally along the summit of the watershed between the Medway and the Waima Rivers to Trig. Station O, Blue Mountain, in Block XIII, Blue Mountain Survey District; thence northerly, easterly, and southerly generally along the summit of the watershed between the Flaxbourne and the Waima Rivers to Trig. Station Housstop, on the boundaries of Blocks VIII and X, Cape Campbell Survey District; thence easterly and south-easterly along the northern and north-eastern boundaries of part Section 1, Block X, Cape Campbell Survey District, to the southernmost corner of part Section 2, Block X, Cape Campbell Survey District; thence easterly generally along a right line between the said corner of part Section 2 and Trig. Station Single Hill, and the production of that right line to the sea coast; thence south-westerly generally along the sea coast to a point due south-east of Trig. Station W.C., in Block XV, Whernside Survey District; thence due north-west to that Trig. Station W.C.; thence northerly generally along the summit of the eastern watershed of the Kekerengu River to Trig. Station Ben More, in Block IV, Whernside Survey District; thence northerly and north-westerly along the southern and south-western watersheds of the Waima River to Trig. Station Y, Mt. Malvern, the point of commencement.
