TIMARU CITY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Washdyke Development Loan No. 3, 1967—£34,000
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Timaru City Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charge on
the loan of £34,000, to be known as the Washdyke Develop-
ment Loan No. 3, 1967, authorised to be raised by the Timaru
City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose
of providing further water and drainage reticulation in the
Washdyke area, the Timaru City Council hereby makes a
special rate of one hundred and eighteen thousandths of a
penny (.118d.) in the pound upon the rateable value (on
the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property
in the City of Timaru, and that the said special rate shall be
an annually recurring rate during the currency of the said
loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each
and every year during the currency of the said loan, being a
period of 20 years, or until such loan is fully paid off."

The above resolution was passed at a meeting of the Timaru
City Council held on the 16th day of May 1967.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Baths Reconstruction Loan 1967—£20,000
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Timaru City Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charge on
the loan of £20,000, to be known as the Baths Reconstruction
Loan 1967, authorised to be raised by the Timaru City
Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of
reconstructing the Century Swimming Baths, the Timaru City
Council hereby makes a special rate of sixty-five thousandths
of a penny (.065d.) in the pound upon the rateable value
(on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable
property in the City of Timaru, and that the said special rate
shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the
said loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in
each and every year during the currency of the said loan,
being a period of 10 years, or until such loan is fully paid off."

The above resolution was passed at a meeting of the
Timaru City Council held on the 16th day of May 1967.

MOUNT EDEN BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Land Purchase Loan 1956—£50,000
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Mount
Eden Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
a loan of £50,000; authorised to be raised by the Mount Eden
Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the
purpose of purchasing and developing properties from time
to time, the said Mount Eden Borough Council hereby
makes a special rate of zero decimal eight three zero one
four pence (0.83014d.) in the pound upon the rateable value
of all rateable property in the Borough of Mount Eden, and
that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during
the currency of the loan, and be payable annually on the
1st day of April in each and every year during the currency
of the loan, being for a period of 20 years, or until the loan is
fully paid off."

I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy
of a resolution passed by the Mount Eden Borough Council
at a duly constituted meeting held on the 24th day of April
1967.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Pensioners' Flats Loan 1966, £13,300
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Whakatane Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges
on a loan of thirteen thousand three hundred pounds
(£13,300), authorised to be raised by the Whakatane
Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the
purpose of purchasing land and erecting accommodation for
old people, the said Whakatane Borough Council hereby
makes a special rate of decimal point nought seven five
pence (.075d.) in the pound (£) upon the unimproved
rateable value of all rateable property over the whole of
the Borough of Whakatane and that such special rate shall
be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such
loan, being a period of thirty (30) years, or until the said
loan is fully paid off."

I hereby certify that the above resolution was passed at a
meeting of the Whakatane Borough Council held on the
18th day of August 1966.

TARADALE BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Redemption Loan 1967, £27,000
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Taradale Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
a loan of £27,000, authorised to be raised by the Taradale
Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the
purpose of repaying on maturity that portion of the
Development Loan 1962—£300,000, which matures on 1 June
1967, the said Taradale Borough Council hereby makes a
special rate of decimal two nine eight pence (.298d.) in the
pound (£) upon the rateable unimproved value of all rateable
property in the Borough of Taradale, and that the said
special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the
currency of the loan until it is fully repaid."

The foregoing resolution was passed at a meeting of the
Taradale Borough Council on 26 April 1967.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Abattoir Supplementary Loan 1967—£1,700
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Feilding Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing annual charges on a
loan of £1,700, authorised to be raised by the Feilding
Borough Council under the provisions of the Local Authorities
Loans Act 1956 for the purpose of completing the purpose
for which the Abattoir Loan 1965, £17,000 was sanctioned,
the said Feilding Borough Council hereby makes a special
rate of decimal nought one four pence (.014d.) in the pound
upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved
value) of all rateable property of the Borough of Feilding,
and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate
during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the
1st day of April in each and every year during the currency
of the loan, being a period of 20 years, or until the loan is
fully paid off."

I hereby certify that the above resolution was duly passed
at a meeting of the Feilding Borough Council held on 12 May
1967.
