further given that a plan of the land so required to be taken
is deposited in the public office of the Town Clerk to the
said Council, situate in Tennyson Street, Napier, and is open
for inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary
office hours.

All persons affected by the execution of the said public
work or by the taking of such land should, if they have any
objection to the execution of the said public work or to the
taking of the said land, not being objections to the amount
or payment of compensation, set forth the same in writing and
send the written objection, within 40 days of the first publication
of this notice, to the Town Clerk at his office aforesaid,
and that if any objection is made in accordance with this
notice a public hearing of the objection will be held unless
the objector otherwise requires and each objector will be
advised of the time and place of the hearing.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR QUARRY UNDER THE
PUBLIC WORKS ACT 1928. SITUATED ON S.H. 3, APPROXIMATELY 2 MILES SOUTH OF PIO PIO

NOTICE is hereby given that the Waitomo County Council
proposes, under the above-mentioned Act, to take the land
described in the Schedule hereto for quarry, and notice is
further given that plans of the land so required to be taken
are deposited in the public office of the Clerk of the above
Council, situated at Te Kuiti, and are open for public
inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary office
hours. All persons affected by the taking of the said land for
quarry, who have any objections thereto, must state their
objections in writing and lodge same at the office of the
County Clerk within 40 days from the date of the first
publication of this notice.

MOUNT ROSKILL BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Rider Main Loan, 1966—£33,000
RESOLVED that, in pursuance and exercise of the powers
vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act
1956, the Mount Roskill Borough Council hereby resolves as
follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing interest and annual
charges on a loan of sixteen thousand pounds (£16,000),
authorised to be raised by the Mount Roskill Borough Council
under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of replacement
of rider mains within the Borough together with costs
of surveys and plan preparation and preliminary expenses
involved, the said Mount Roskill Borough Council makes a
special rate of decimal point nought two eight three six nine
pence (.028369d.) in the pound (£) on the rateable
property in the Borough of Mount Roskill, and that the special
rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency
of the said loan and be paid yearly on the 1st day of April
in each year and every year during the currency of the said
loan, being a period of twenty (20) years, or until the loan
is fully paid off."
Passed at a meeting of Council held on the 9th day of
May 1967.

Stoddard Road Stormwater Drainage Loan 1967—£4,500
RESOLVED that, in pursuance and exercise of the powers
vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans
Act 1956, the Mount Roskill Borough Council hereby resolves
as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing interest and annual
charges on a loan of £4,500 (four thousand five hundred
pounds), authorised to be raised by the Mount Roskill
Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the
purpose of providing stormwater drainage in the Borough of
Mount Roskill, the said Mount Roskill Borough Council
makes a special rate of decimal point nought one three two
pence (.0132d.) in the pound (£) on the rateable value (on
the basis of unimproved value) on all rateable property in
the Borough of Mount Roskill, and that the special rate
shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the
said loan and be paid yearly on the 1st day of April in
each year and every year during the currency of the said
loan, being a period of ten (10) years, or until the loan is
fully paid off."
Passed at a meeting of Council held on the 9th day of
May 1967.

DUNEDIN CITY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Gas Main Loan 1967, £15,000
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Dunedin City Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a
loan of £15,000, authorised to be raised by the Dunedin
City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose
of laying an 18-inch gas main from the City Gasworks to the
Kensington Gasholder, the said Dunedin City Council hereby
makes a special rate of 0.105d. in the pound (£) upon the
rateable value of all rateable property in the City of Dunedin
comprising the whole of the City of Dunedin, and that the
special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the
currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of
June in each and every year during the currency of the loan,
being a period of twenty (20) years, or until the loan is
fully paid off."
We hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy
of the resolution passed by the Dunedin City Council on the
above-mentioned date.

Renewal Loan 1967, £17,700
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Dunedin Drainage and Sewerage Board hereby resolves as
follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a
loan of £17,700, authorised to be raised by the Dunedin
Drainage and Sewerage Board under the above-mentioned
Act for the purpose of repaying on maturity, portion of the
Drainage Extension Loan 1954, which matures on the 31st
day of May 1967, the said Dunedin Drainage and Sewerage
Board hereby makes a special rate of 0.043d. in the pound
(£) upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the
Board's district comprising the whole of the City of Dunedin
and the Borough of St. Kilda, and that the special rate
shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the
