Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought two
two three six pence (.02236d.) in the pound on the rateable
value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable
property in the County of Waimate West, and that such
special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the
currency of such loan and be payable half-yearly, the first
such payment to be made not later than six months after
the date of payment of the first instalment and subsequently in each and every year during the currency of the
loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully
paid off.

APPLICATION FOR WATER RACE
WILLIAM HEWITT MEE, of Becks, farmer, hereby gives notice
that he has applied to the Warden's Court at Cromwell for a
water race for 1½ heads of water to be pumped out of the
Manuherikia River adjacent to the applicant's property being
Run 224D, Blackstone District, at a point 420 yards
north of the southern boundary of the said Run.
The application will be heard at the Warden's Court,
Cromwell, at 10 a.m., on Tuesday, the 13th day of June 1967,
and all objections must be filed in the said Court and served
on the applicant at least three days prior to the hearing.

NOTICE OF PRIVATE BILL
NURSE MAUDE DISTRICT NURSING ASSOCIATION ACT 1967
In the matter of a Bill intituled the Nurse Maude District
Nursing Association Act 1967, and in the matter of Hugh
Boscawen Anderson, of Christchurch, retired naval officer,
and Lionel Denis Cotterill, of Christchurch, solicitor, notice
is hereby given that the above-named promoters intend to
apply to the House of Representatives for leave to bring in a
Bill intituled the Nurse Maude District Nursing Association
Act 1967. The objects of the Bill are to incorporate the Nurse
Maude District Nursing Association and to declare the
trusts and powers of and concerning the same.
Communications or notices to the promoters may be sent to
them at the office of the Nurse Maude District Nursing
Association, 192 Madras Street, Christchurch. A copy of the
Bill may be inspected at the said office.

Under the Regulations Act 1936, statutory regulations of
general legislative force are no longer published in the New
Zealand Gazette, but are supplied under any one or more of
the following arrangements:
(1) All regulations serially as issued (punched for filing)
subscription £3 per calendar year in advance.
(2) Annual volume (including index) bound in buckram,
50s. per volume. (Volumes for years 1936–37 and
1939–42 are out of print.)
(3) Separate regulations as issued.
